I watched the Bulls game and it was a little, ah, rough. They just spent two days talking about how Sacramento is one of the three worst teams in the league and yet they hung tough with the Bulls at the United Center for pretty much an entire game. I expect a great deal of consternation over this fact, followed by how this proves how pointless the season will be, in turn followed by elaborate breakdowns of ICE in the third quarter and a deliberately paced recitation of Marco Belinelli's career stats. I'm gonna read a book.

Just checked the box score, and it looks like Harden started? Lin and Asik as well. I guess I am confused about the thread title, but I'll defer to FF!

Remember when everyone thought he was the next Michael Jordan? Remember that? That was bad. He is the worst basketball player in history.

Anyways, he had himself a decent game. 12pts - 8Ast - 4Stl. 4 turnovers in 35 minutes.

First, my thread titles always suck. Second, it was making fun of Bernsie constantly saying HE'S A SIXTH MAN!!! when saying why he shouldnt get a max contract yesterday.

If they said that, they'd be wrong. Sacramento is not one of the three worst teams in the league.

You just went from one dramatic extreme to another there. I think you need to lie down.

Bobcats, Magic, and Wizards are unquestionably worse.

FF, thanks. I figured you had a good reason for it. Anytime B&B has to eat crow, I am excited for it.

So you DON'T remember that guy calling Les' show and saying he'd take Jeremy Lin over Michael Jordan at that point in their careers?

And no...nobody's ever said that Lin was the worst basketball player in history. You don't need to make stuff up. They already give you plenty of material without having to do that.

Stop coming to your hero's rescue. Using some drunk and unhinged caller on the Les Grobstein show to prove your "point" is pretty weak ground to stand on.

I bet Jeremy Lin couldn't practice bounce passes and open his mail to save his life.

So their official position on Lin was that he is bad. But how bad? Do they think he's a bad starter, or a fringe NBA player?

Hero's rescue? That's pretty damn weak, considering you read my posts and you know how critical I am of this show. I actually find it pretty offensive and dismissive of you to say that about me. Especially since it's not true.

If you wanna disagree with something I post, fine. But don't resort to shit like calling them my "heroes" like I blindly defend this show or its hosts. You know that's not true, and it's a pretty lazy response on your part.

This convo is over dude.

They said the Warriors were right in there, too, but most stuff I've read has the Warriors firmly in NBA Hell this year.

Yeah the Warriors will be. They'll win about 40 games. Although some people think that 26 teams every season are in "NBA Hell". But Klay Thompson is the goods and they have potential to have a really good team in a couple years.

Of course B&B would say that the Kings and Warriors are two of the worst teams in the league. Im beginning to think he doesnt really even have a rudimentary understanding of the league, between those assessments, the HARDEN IS ONLY A SIXTH MAN! thing, him saying the Bulls will have to 'catch up to' the fuckin Atlanta Hawks and the NY Knicks.

I wish they could play a game at the Score with Mac and Berns. Make them answer 10 NBA questions spontaneously, no research, and compare their answers. I'd bet almost anything that Mac's arent worse.

I guess not being a big NBA fan from the time that Jordan left until last year I was relying on these boobs for my NBA insight. Boy was I wrong. As I looked at box scores etc. the last couple days especially Hardin's this morning I just think wow.

Again, we're seeing that Jason Goff knows a hell of a lot more about basketball than these two, just by his absence.

Goff would've called them out on some of those bad thoughts.

If Horford overcomes last year's setback and continues to improve, and Josh Smith doesnt get greedy/crazy in a contract year, I expect them to win about 45 games or so. I like the Lou Williams addition. He's a really good scorer. I like Teague. They'll be around the same as the Bulls pre-Rose comeback I'd guess.

Yeah there's not really anyone with good basketball thoughts on either station for pittmike to rely on though. I remember thinking Carmen and Silvy were the best in town back before I joined the Army in like '07 or so, but that entire station is hard to listen to these days. Mike&Mike would probably be the best for reliable basketball thoughts

Well, the PA Attorney General will announce that ex-Penn State President Graham Spanier will officially be charged with perjury in the Jerry Sandusky case at Noon (ET), according to SportsByBrooks' Twitter.

If you listen to this show, you know what that means...
