It was suggested by the Tribune's Mike Mulligan, who also hosts from 5-9 AM with Brian Hanley on the SCORE, that Dan has been a failure because he used his prestigious Duke education to become nothing more than the sportsradio version of former Q-101 morning host Mancow Muller. Is he right?

What else might the guys talk about today? How about the Bulls loss last night to the surprisingly old Boston Celtics at the United Center last night? Or perhaps they'll spend some time discussing the MLB Rookies of the Year, Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout and Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper, which were awarded by the Baseball Writers of America last night. Perhaps there will even be a shoutout to Sara Ganim, the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who was covering the Story That Must Be Told for the Patriot-News, jumping to Ted Turner's CNN in Atlanta.

Also on tap...

*TBA: The SCORE/WBBM Newsradio/Bears Radio Network's Zach Zaidman
*3:30P: "The Second Half"
*5P: The SCORE/PFW/Dial Global Sports' Hub Arkush

Bernsie's led a charmed life to date. If I were him, I might consider not burning every fucking bridge I've ever come across. Life has a funny way of kicking your teeth out when you least expect it.

Hard to believe, but SHARK hasn't posted in quite a few days.

Yeah, I'm kinda worried.

He really doesn't, though. He's been a loyal foot soldier for CBS and Jerry Reinsdorf. He's not going to find himself without a bridge. Any lasting acrimony he has is with people who would be of no use to him.

Terry's Peeps, stop being a Douche....Mully was sarcastically ribbing Bernstein about wasting his life as a sports goon after it was brought up that his cousin was a neurologist during a concussion discussion....He even declared it was a joke after the texts started in on him....I listened to the whole thing, clearly he was goofing around...

If I can be serious for a moment......

SHARK was upset at the board's unreliability last week. He said he's done for now.

Yeah, I'm with you Curious. I'd like to know what important bridges BurnSTINE has berned.

Mike norht was just a guy, and they never really liked each other anyway. Ditto Murph, Fred, and George.

He's pretty much hated by everyone else at the station and everyone in local media. He rips CBS on the air often. How does he treat those CBS sports minutes? Someday Terry will croak and maybe the ratings go down. Maybe there's a shakeup at the station. Who knows? Lots of radio guys went from "the top" to out of a job over the past decade.

I'm just sayin, what comes around, goes around. Trite, but true!

Just noticed there's minimal M&H supporters across the board, so when given the chance to get all puffy chested I gave it a ride! More logical side says Bernsie didn't waste anything, if the guy's happy in his career that's all that matters, and he makes a good living off of it.....but Mully was busting balls

Sounds like Mulligan was waiting around the Score offices to tell Bernstein what he thought of him. Things are escalating at the Score like they are reading a Beardown post.
