Uh oh, we're getting board error messages! Better delete every thread we've ever started prior to last Thursday.

The Wizard of Oz was on TBS last night, in which Dorothy is hit in the head with a window and goes on to visit the wonderful land of Oz. WHEN IS THIS GLORIFICATION OF CONCUSSIONS GOING TO STOP?

all those hits to Curley's head must have caused CTE...not the Curley from the other favorite topic of conversation

I'm not one to bitch about a free service, but seriously, somebody needs to unclog the intertubes.

Cris Collinsworth mentioned Ryan Clark's kevlar-lined helmet and used the words "cobwebs" last night. Has Dan chided him yet?

Dan has to have a very powerful erection over the news that Ed Reed has been suspended 1 game for repeated hits to the head of opponents.

Nope. Collinsworth was noted as being "on message" about concussions. I'm sure someone called up Cris to let him know that he's on the right side of this one.

Not exact - but in a discussion he didn't wish to participate in - "this is retarded".

That word is like a fire alarm or 5:30am alarm clock, eh Doc?

It was Marcus Teague needs to play more talk...and the caller is an idiot.

LaMarcus Aldridge would make the Bulls better. Who would've thought?

I don't get super bent out of shape about it. I know it was used all the time when I was a kid without any stigma and people just are used to it. I'm sure I used it back then, too.

But, I think a professional broadcaster should have it together at this point and realize times have changed.

Someone remind me again what the point of that Tyrus Thomas/LaMarcus Aldridge trade was. What else was involved to make trading down worth it?

It could have been awesome if Dan didn't take it so seriously. Car color, make and mile marker even though you don't know the guy is drunk. Even if he is, so is the rest of Wisconsin coming off the first weekend of deer hunting season.

 I heard that too and couldn't come on here to post about it. Dan was acting like he was the first person in the world to recognize Aldridge was a damn good player, and then Boers acted shocked than Dan thought Aldridge was a damn good player. I dont think anybody who follows the league would have him ranked outside their top 20, and he'd be around #12-13 on my list.

I think they saved $1 million in salary, had Tyrus ranked higher on their board anyway, and knew Tyrus would still be there from talking to other teams if they dropped from 2 to 4.

I never thought I'd say this but I really don't want Dan and Terry talking basquetbol anymore.

Yah, hoops talk with these guys has gotten worse - and somehow I thought it would have gotten BETTER once the "man, you best believe that when I was hanging with the security guard at the UC and Jamal Crawford told me...." NBA EXPERT left. I was wrong. I thought it might be addition by subtraction, and while that may be true it ends up that they kept on subtracting by refusing to actually watch anything other than Entertainment Tonight and their Twitter feed.

Speaking of that: much like I don't understand how we're now suddenly ok with almost every dude not having any idea how to change a tire (outside of calling AAA), why are we ok with sports talk guys PROUDLY talking about how much they avoid watching sports? Why is that ok? Why would a PD be ok with that? Jesus, it's amazing to me. Terry has been coasting for years, and now Dan simply regurgitates things he reads on Twitter and shows very little interest in actual games (outside of Bears games, I guess).

Most wouldn't, but as long as they continue to get indignant about White Sox attendance, this particular PD is ok with basically anything else they do.
