The guys will do "The Second Half" @ 3:30P, plus The SCORE/PFW/Dial Global Radio's Hub Arkush will try to figure out what went wrong at the end of Sunday's Seahawks/Bears' game @ 5P. That's all they have. "Scoreboard Updates" w/Chris Rongey all afternoon. Terry's "two favorite words", Laurence Holmes, follows @ 6P for a "full boat show" until 10P. One-third of Laurence's "A Team", EP Joe Ostrowski, hosts a solo latenight SCORE @ 10P. "SCORE Overnight" with Les Grobstein & Adam Harris follows @ Midnight until 5A Wednesday morning. |

Dan's having a fit because a caller said that the Bears drafted a white football player (McLellan) instead of a black player (someone the Patriots drafted...can't remember who the caller referred to) because the white player would be more marketable. Years ago Dan said that the reason that Brian Urlacher's jersey was one of the top selling jerseys was because he's white. So, how is that really different from what the caller said? |

Oh, okay. Yeah, that call was unpleasant. But like Tad said, Bernstein has made that same point years ago about Urlacher's marketability being due to his whiteness. That's actually a pretty good WYC. |

This is my 1st time listening to the show in months and I remember they used to have fun or that could be imaginary radio again. Sports is entertainment so why are I they so combative and miserable sounding? |

Dan sounds like a complete idiot talking about guns and why people have them. He should end this conversation right now so they don't put him in a padded cell. If he can't understand that crimes get committed on average, law abiding people - in their homes - then he needs to crawl out of his gated community and live with the rest of the goy. Does he read the newspaper? Watch the news? Is his whole family and all his friends in this utopia he lives in?? What a dumbass! |

Ok. I was a day late. They are using the murder-suicide to talk about these NFL players with their guns. So I was right. B&B: I guess I just don't understand this culture of these players with their guns. Translation: I don't get these stupid, thug blacks. Don't live a high risk life and you won't be in danger. The rich white players don't have guns. Are Tom Brady and Peyton Manning worried about being robbed? |

The first part seemed odd to me as I think they said in the SI story that both Belcher and his GF liked to go shooting? Funnier thing to me was the what are they protecting angle? I for one have never heard of a pro athlete out on the town with a wad and looking good in expensive jewelry. You don't make it rain and add in a crystal shower on the debit car Danny.

NBC Sports/MLB Network's Bob Costas was a guest on "The Dan Patrick Show" this morning, and the usually mild-mannered Costas tried to explain his controversial gun control stance at halftime of the Eagles/Cowboys' game Sunday night. http://www.danpatrick.com/2012/12/04/bo ... ight-game/ I'm a little surprised that Costas isn't in hot water with his NBC Sports' bosses stemming from his controversial stance. |
