No offensive minds, besides Cutler, on the Bears.

FIRE LOVIE, but Dan is not saying you should or shouldn't. The GM is in charge.

meatpants proudly explained that he crapped his pants.

Nobody should be surprised that the Clippers beat the Bulls again late last night. The best team in Los Angeles is NOT the Lakers this season. They are the Clippers, even though the jury is still out on VDN as head coach.

I have no reason to think this will be a good show. I will tune in and tune out. I will likely be thoroughly un-entertained.

Mac trying to distance himself from Bernsie's "Anyone who calls a sports radio show is an idiot" is funny coming from Mr. PTFB.

As I alluded yesterday, I think B&B should go Mike & Mike style. No callers. I think they'd be happier.

Seems odd that Feinstein pronounces morass so clearly as the two-worded "more ass".

They can't. They are doubling down and building their show around dumb callers.

Here's the Wednesday Game Plan:

*3P: Sun-Times' Bears Writer Sean Jensen
-No Practice Today; "Jay Day" in Lake Forest

*3:30P: "The Second Half"

*5P: The SCORE/PFW/Dial Global Radio Network's Hub Arkush
-Frank from Oak Park's Favorite Segment; "Ask Hub" (Complete w/Listener Calls)

"Scoreboard Updates": Chris Rongey

There's more Hub where that came from. He'll guest host the nighttime SCORE for the vacationing Laurence Holmes @ 6P. DePaul/Arizona State NCAA Basketball follows Hub @ 7:45P from Tempe, AZ with Zach Zaidman & Jeff Blanzy on the call. At around 10:15P this eve, the voice of the Kane County Cougars, Wayne Randazzo has the latenight SCORE followed by "SCORE Overnight" with Les Grobstein & Adam Harris from Midnight-5A Thursday.

LULZ! Terry's guy told him that Phil Emery took the GM job with a head coach in mind, but had to wait things out. Dan proclaims "hmmm, interesting, then that means Sean Payton is off the table because he wasn't available when..." then Terry with a "well, you can change your mind". This show, and their sources, are the BEST.

meatpants played poker last night. Got home. Had to go offload, but also had to walk the dog. Chose to walk the dog first, bad idea as he crapped his pants whilst walking the dog. He saw fit to (apparently) talk about this on his show AND bring it up during transition. Because, y'know, an obese man talking about crapping his pants is the type of radio you can NOT turn your dial from!

Sean Payton? Since when? Besides, I've heard the suspended Saints' head coach's name mentioned with another high-profile team, the Dallas Cowboys. Jason Garrett's on borrowed time down in "Big D".

I think you don't really believe that B&B's happiness has anything at all to do with their decision to take callers. Or not.

It's funny that so many of us yearn for Dan to act like he likes sports...to stop number crunching it, to stop screaming about getting closer to championships etc...but when he starts verbally stroking himself while talking about Kevin Love's possible desire to come to Chicago with DRose, well, his hushed tone and force-quieted voice creep me out.

That said, mmmmmmmmmmmmm, can you imagine him outlet passing to DROSE?!?!?!?!111!!!!!???!!!///1!!?!??!

let me be the first to say I think Love's overrated.

However, there's no one outside of Rose I wouldn't trade for him. That's how bad the Bulls are.

"I don't mean to overstate it, but when you're in the middle of your Championship parade and you're asked when "things started to come together", well it's this type of moment you'll be talking about."

-Dan Bernstein 12.12.12 on Kevin Love's general unhappiness and a quote about how much he appreciates how Thibs' guys all walk together, back on to the court, after a timeout.

I was initially going to say you're right but not taking callers would eliminate a big part of their schtick. It would also eliminate their "let's hear from the male secretary who is frustrated with screening all the dumb callers" schtick.

Is there another show on their air that deals with more unsubstantiated rumors and mysterious sources than B&B? I know a large part of sports-talk radio is based on guessing what a team, coach, or player might do but at least most of them come from things a beat reporter or writer said, not "the guy" of a couple of hosts.

I suppose I could see Dan talking to people and having a legitimate source. But Terry, who puts precious little effort into being prepared for the show, does not strike me as someone who is working the phones for inside information.

Terry's BS Skillz are MAD, yo. Dan's starts down some Vanity Fair story tale of Belushi and his drug use....Dan starts speaking in segments "I didn't know how bad his habit was" mmmm, hmmm "I mean, did you know that he would get so high he would wander into random people's houses" mmmm, hmmmmm "and they'd have to leave the set and go find him" mmmm, hmmmmm, oh yah.

I really feel like Dan, in his mind, has somehow made this Kevin Love story BECAUSE how important. He. Is. Making. It. Right. Now.

Surely there's a quantity limit to your trade, no? What's your max package?

... Eaglo did overnights on an R&B station out in Tulsa with Max Package ...

The Bulls aren't that bad, City. However, they're only good enough to win the NBA Central Division title and that's it. That won't get them any closer to where the Heat are at as NBA Champions.

What these Bulls will have to do is trim payroll first, especially because this team right now is real close to having to pay the NBA's luxury tax, which Uncle Jerry doesn't want to pay. If it means cutting their losses with Carlos Boozer and FINALLY using the amnesty clause, so be it. If it means dealing Luol Deng or Joakim Noah, that's what the Bulls will have to do.

Right now, these Bulls are in salary cap hell. Until they can trim the roster of the bad contracts and get under the cap, they shouldn't be thinking about the Larry O'Brien Trophy. That's the reality of the situation.

The show that has basically given Lebron the title for every year in the forseeable future thinks Kevin Love makes the Bulls a legitimate title contender?
