I expect a column full of tortured metaphors

I'm eagerly awaiting a caller speculating that the Packers threw their game against the Vikings in order to prevent the Bears from making the playoffs. I mean the Packers did beat the Bears twice in the regular season so it's statistically proven that the Packers would have a 0% chance of beating the Bears three times in one season. Fuckin' pussies.

It's kind of cool that Connor McKnight gets to co-host with the legend today. With all the breaking news and what not, this is a terrific showcase for him.

Finfer: "We still have to talk to Dan Bernstein."

Buffone: "...do we have to?"

There were some great tales of Buffone/Bernstein acrimony lost to the board deletions.

bernstein has already laughed off the suggestion that "a 90 year old woman" or her family had ANYTHING to do with this, for those of you keeping score at home.

It's Fire Everybody [Except Lovie] Day! Dan and McDoink will have French national anthems aplenty for us. I expect a column full of tortured metaphors that will explain why Dan thinks the Bears have to fire Lovie but don't if they can't prove that it'll be better so they shouldn't but they might but probably won't.

It's kind of cute to hear the kid Connor piggy back on Dan's disdain and disgust over the comments of the callers. Also a lot of nodding of the head to everything Dan says. Danny boy pretty much just steers young Connor on this ride. That said, Connor doesn't go out of his way to lick Dan like Larry.
