People are posting all these exclusive info posts claiming they have inside info of Boers leaving or Bernstein leaving and changes coming. They are the CSFMB equivalent of the National Enquirer and the constant stories that Duchesss Kate was pregnant before she finally now is. They are guessing so when it does happen they can claim they had the scoop, |

My sources, who are rarely mistaken about such matters, tell me that post Super Bowl Terry Boers will be retiring. Sources also claim that Leery will be his successor, but in a new 7-11am timeslot. #SHAKETHAT 5-7 M&H 7-11 B&H 11-2 Rome 2-6 M&S |

It's obviously inferior by most measures, but (just guessing) he could take the Waddle approach and prefer it due to family time. |

That CBS would force the Score to wedge in Jim Rome. Why would they cut the highly rated Mully and Hanley show to only 2 hours? You'd think it would be 3 hours for both shows. 5-8 and 8-11. While it seems that Larry's ass kissing is gonna pay off, Bernstein could still pick somebody else if he's retained. Or go solo. Maybe his weekend shifts on national radio is Bernstein trying to prove he can go solo. |

I want it on the record that I was the first to report that Dan Bernstein is pregnant. |

If CBS is smart, they'll keep the Score as is and broadcast CBS Radio on another FM station. That way they give consumers in Chicago the option to stay local or listen national, all under the CBS umbrella. |

I wonder how many listeners of the Score are listening on the FM band, anyway? |

Well, then you still have to pay the Chicago hosts and the ratings will be significantly less, meaning less ads and less profits for the local station. |

Yo, CGS, is there anything you're not tying in to Kate Middleton? I'm getting the vibe that you have a wall of Kate Middleton commemorative plates. |

I just cant imagine the CBS Sports Radio execs not wanting to capitalize on the Scores success by shoehorning at least one prime time show on AM670. Unfortunately, we may be on the cusp of another historic change at the Score that isn't popular with local listeners. As far as a Score lineup shuffle, I will be very disappointed if Mitch doesn't work either Rosey or Rozner into the daily lineup. They have become my favorite Score guys & I would love to hear them daily. Screw Larry & Spiegs both. As I have said for Months, I believe that the B&B show is near its end. Better late than never... |

I'm more concerned about the corporate arm. Those sports minutes are awful. I heard the new weekend overnight show with Amy Lawrence -- not good. She doesn't have a name for her show! What? Production glitches left and right. She was a sub on ESPN radio -- should've been a hint about her talent. Nothing to get my confidence level up for future program decisions. |

Nothing to get my confidence level up for future program decisions. Factually speaking, Amy Lawrence was ONE of the many hosts of ESPN Radio's "SportsCenter Tonight". She wasn't the primary host of that show which has followed Bulls' basketball and other live sports play-by-play up the dial. She was part of a rotation that also included Freddie Coleman & Chuck Wilson among the show's hosts from the network's home in Bristol, CT. As far as a name for her new weekend overnight show on CBS Sports Radio, Amy admitted right away about technical glitches with the new sports talk radio network when I listened in after 1A Saturday morning. She also wanted people listening in to figure out a catchy name for her new show, which 670 The SCORE now airs 1-5A Saturday mornings, as well as 3-5A Sunday mornings following live, local sports talk with Steven Berger from 1-3A Sundays. |

I can't picture Dr. Milt Rosenberg doing a sports talk radio show, but he thinks he can still attract listeners on a station other than 720 WGN Radio. I'm not sure where he'll relocate if he won't be on as an occasional guest, according to bosses at the Tribune-owned news/talk station. |

As I understand it this will possibly be the score schedule 5-9 Tommie Williams and Jerry Riles 9-12 Mike North and Laurence Holmes 12-5 Dan Bernstein 5-9 Mac and Spiegs 9-12 Matt Abbattacola and Shep 12-5 Grobber This is the only thing that makes sense. |
