I've gotten the PMs... I know what's what. In the spirit of fairness, the only thing I can say is that yesterday SHARK was pretty much being a dick; it wasn't about the usual corrections of minutiae, but it spilled out into scoffing and "your opinion is stupid and wrong" all over the place which, hey, you know welcome to the CSFMB pull up a chair.... but at the same time, even in special circumstances, it's hard to maintain that there should be a double standard when someone's going around "asking for it." that's all. i'm going to go back to crusing for passed out drunk chicks at the club and old ladies walking away from the ATM with $100+ in their hands cuz they're clearly "asking for it" too =D |

I'm not going to dwell on the matter because we've dwelled so much already, but there's significant overlap between the members who go after other members for pointing out idiosyncrasies, and the members who maintain a dedicated thread for pointing out idiosyncrasies. Either both are okay or neither is. |
