1. It is acceptable for Brent Musberger to lust over the Alabama beauty queen. It is her job to have people say that she is pretty.

2. It is not acceptable for Larry to lust over the NBC 5 girls. They are journalists and/or weather girls. They deserve better than to be objectified and lusted over on the air by media creeps and weirdos.

3. ESPN should not have issued and apology for Brent Musberger

4. Mitch and Zim need to issue an apology for Larry.

5. Brent is an old man and a giant in the business. Old people can get away with shit even if they're wrong and he wasn't wrong.

6. Larry has no excuse.

Laurence's thing for the NBC5 girls goes beyond when he starting working there himself late last year. It's not just current weekend meteoroloigst Cheryl Scott, Beardown. He's got this thing as well as for current weekend co-anchor Lauren Jiggetts, as well as a couple of others who now work at ABC News in New York, Cheryl's predecessor Ginger Zee & Paula Faris, who co-anchors "World News Now" overnights with Rob Nelson.

Quite frankly, I'm still creeped out by the sight of Laurence looking over Paula's shoulder when the two of them were on NBC5's "Sports Sunday" about 2 years ago after NBC Sports' "Sunday Night Football" & NBC5's late news. Paula was going to a commercial break as I recall, and it made me cringe to a point where I wanted Paula to take off her shoe and smack Laurence real, real hard.

Laurence should know better, but his lust goes beyond his NBC5 colleagues. He's had things for the likes of Kerry Washington from ABC's "Scandal", the stars of the 2000s version of "Battlestar Galactica", as well as other hotties from the entertainment world.

Larry doesn't know how to talk about women, period. The man's comments are way out of line about 110% of the time. I just find it hilarious that Dan and Terry are saying "No big deal" to Brent's comments, because they seem oblivious to how creepy LoHo sounds when talking about women.

I also disagree with Bernstein assertion. It's not more offensive to America when an old man does the heavy breathing, lusting and oogling over a pretty women on the air. Far more offensive when somebody's Larry's age does it. Far more disturbing. Especially the way Larry does it in his weird, creepy, awkward way. Like I said, people accept comments from old people. They're harmless. It's more funny than anything. When Larry does it, your thoughts are to keep women and children away from him.

This entire situation is ridiculous. Why did ESPN apologize for Brent Calling AJ's Girlfriend beautiful? were people complaining?

They thought Brent Musburger went too far in his critique of Katherine Webb, the 23 year-old model & Miss Alabama who happens to be A.J. McCarron's girlfriend watching his Alabama Crimson Tide blowout Notre Dame in a BCS Championship Game that was anything but.

If sideline reporters Heather Cox had a wardrobe malfunction or Tom Rinaldi dropped the "F" bomb on the ESPN broadcast, then the "Worldwide Leader" should apologize. They didn't need to apologize for Brent's remarks. Katherine herself has taken all the attention in stride, and her Twitter account has really taken off since ESPN cameras couldn't their eyes off of her.

Webb reported that she was flattered by the comments and was in no way offended.

Yeah, she was on "The Today Show" this morning. I don't understand the big fuss.

Comments sections of news sites and social media were all atwitter with "creepy" comments. Just bizarre.

Wouldn't that be the shit if she dumped the jock for Musberger? Might be a good long term play.

Truth be told, Brent Musburger is old enough to be Katherine Webb's grandfather. I think the same thing whenever I see Bill Kurtis and/or Walter Jacobson sharing the CBS2 anchor desk with Kate Sullivan.

Yeah, well, that broad doesn't get to decide what she thinks; the cocksuckers up in arms about this will let let her know in no uncertain terms what the right things to feel are.

Agreed. This isn't the first time he's done something like this either. I found the whole thing harmless and quite humorous when it happened.

He did it with Jenn Sterger. She got to be in playboy and make a career out of his comments. She also got to see Brett Favre's wang.

Here's the comments about AJ McCarron's girlfriend in case any of you missed it.

Speaking of hot girls during college games. Did anyone catch the 3 large breasted brunette's before the Orange Bowl? I had to rewind it a couple of times just to make sure I saw what I saw...

Anyway, judging from Cheryl Scott's facebook page she seems to enjoy spending time with Larry. Maybe she's to naive to see his creepiness.

She's also a regular guest on the nighttime SCORE, too. I don't know if Laurence will now focus his attention on Rebecca Haarlow, the newest member of the NBC5 sports team, as he teased the other night on Twitter. If I'm Cheryl, Rebecca, Marion Brooks & Lauren Jiggetts, I'm getting restraining orders right now.

Rebecca Haarlow looks like she has had some work done. I don't think think she's Larry's type. Doesn't have that girl-next-door quality.

I'm not so sure about that. Rebecca did look good the other night in her NBC5 debut, complete with a go-go dancer in the background during her live shot on NBC5's "Sports Sunday" in Miami. I kid you not!

I heard Laurence mention this on the nighttime SCORE last night. Now that "Monday Night Football" is done for the season, Laurence re-started a segment called "Mixtape Monday" this past Monday in the 9P hour with guys Laurence says he likes. WGN's Marcus LeShock was LoHo's first "Mixtape" guest this past Monday.

Consider yourselves warned right now. If you listen to Holmes' nighttime SCORE all the time, you know how much he mentions NBC5 and meteorologist Cheryl Scott. Cheryl & her Noon weather teammate Alicia Roman are scheduled to join Laurence and his crew for the whole 9P hour Monday night. Laurence better Tweet pictures!

Thank God Dan Bernstein is a man based on ethics and 3" lifts.
If he wasn't Todd Musberger might be a name to consider.

Lauren Jiggets is not Larrys type.

While the uproar is way overblown I always just assumed an unwritten rule of sports broadcasting is to not comment about the attractiveness (or lack thereof) of female fans. While you see many shots you never hear Len and Bob make comments about female fans.

The kids on the board won't remember but back in the day one looked forward to Arne Harris' "hat shots" during Cubs broadcasts. The female subjects' hats were what was discussed but the actual points of interest were what was under the hats ;)

Speak for yourself! SHARK's old enough to remember Arne, the longtime producer/director of WGN Sports' coverage of Cubs' baseball as well as Bulls' basketball before he went to that TV studio in the sky many years ago.
