My Dearly Undeparted Radio Cretins, This Radio RealVolution doesn't have any problems with corporate sponsorship, perhaps because the hosts sponsor the corporate so deftly. We're closed to your suggestions, Boers and Bernstein have already sealed you in eternal darkness. Together, we will plague the airwaves with our message: TALK MORE HOCKEY. STOP TALKING HOCKEY. HOW DOES RAPING CHILDREN GET YOU CLOSER TO A CHAMPIONSHIP THAT LANCE ARMSTRONG TECHNICALLY NEVER WON!? We will not even acknowledge the names of our "competition" because they do not exist. The RealVolution has existed for 10+ years, and archaeologists have unearthed clues that it's been around since the dawn of EVolution of man. Feel "free" to check out competition, but you know you'll be back. It is your destiny. With the coldest condescending disdain (as if you were calling my radio show), S.I. Niclypiss edit: now with 500% more COLON, akin to a bowl of COLON BLOW CEREAL. |

I wonder if Bernsy's aware that one of the show's favorite targets is under further investigation today. ABC News says Lance Armstrong's troubles are far from over. http://abcnews.go.com/US/lance-armstron ... d=18415386 |

Bernstein said this morning he had banged out his annual plea to Thibs to quit burning out players. Coming from the guy who hasn't missed an opportunity to rip columnists for writing the same story over and over. |

This is the column Bernsy is referring. He urges Coach Thibs to "Take it Easy" here, and this column is also available on my Facebook page, too. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2013/02/06/ ... asy-thibs/ |

I loved Leery leaping to Dan's defense on the late puck drop thing. Spiegel: So you really hate those West Coast hockey games? Dan: Yeah, 9:30 is just too late for me. Spiegel: Seriously, 9:30? I mean-- Leery: HE HAS KIDS!!!! Spiegel: Well, what about when the Sox play on the West Coast? You've never had a problem staying up when they play Anaheim or-- Leery: THOSE START AT 9:05 NOT 9:30!!! |

Is it just me or does that sound like former "LOOP Rock Girl" & Maxim "Hometown Hottie" April Rose voicing the Chicago Auto Show commercial that The SCORE & other stations are promoting? I know these 2 will be at the Auto Show in the next week to 10 days in the "TOYOTA Sports Corner" at McCormick Place South. |

Have a good afternoon, everybody! I don't think you are appreciating the analogy. Slaves benefitted from slavery by eventually realizing a benefit from the "really white people" that brought them to this country, collegiate athletes are afforded the opportunity to move to better neighborhoods because "really smart people" know how to monetize athletic competition. |

College sports are gap-toothed, ignorant crazies except for the games that Bernsie goes to...which happens to be a sponsor. |

Oh, Northwestern is one of the "good ones" though. Maybe the SEC should start buying radio advertising on the Score. |

That explains why CBS Sports Network, DIRECTV 613, along with ESPNU, DIRECTV 208, are covering National Signing Day all day today. |

I would find it interesting to discover what else runs through the mind of a Daniel Bernstein. Something tells me the morning ritual is a thing to behold. The discoveries may never end. |

In fairness, it's not like Northwestern has a "crazy rah rah college is awesome because it makes men and we love our players and graduate our players" coach for football.

Have a good afternoon, everybody! Dan is especially trolly lately. You know he absolutely knew that by dropping that line he would solicit the angry black man. The next one will no doubt work Dan up into his same tired "you are NOT UNDERSTANDING ME" rant, followed by a mumbled plea from Terry to get the klansman out from the closet. |
