I think we might have a mutiny over at the Score. Big Fan said that a post on this board from Buster came from the Score studio. This poster has attacked Larry and Spiegel. Buster on Spiegel: Buster wrote: Spiegel is an emotional wreck. One day he will have a meltdown Buster wrote: He is loaded with emotional baggage. That apology was self-serving. Buster wrote: If Ray Lewis and Spiegel were on fire I would urinate on Spiegel. Buster on Larry: Buster wrote: he's short and creepy

I fondly remember the days when Score employees used to post Chunga's office memos. |

There used to be double digit number of Score employees who used to post here on a daily basis before Mitch threw the hammer down. |

Don't think he threw down the hammer at all, but some of them just didnt like the brutal feedback they got...so now they try to ignore the negativity, which I understand, just dont agree with. You dont need to respond to every claim, but if you want to say you are a regular guy, give a shout back. Jason did, mac does, Matty does, some of the guys on Larrys Tree do... However, I am VERY sure, many/most READ...How Ya Doing Everyone! |

I don't think Meat reads...at least not any more. With his thin skin and explosive reactions to any critiques or criticisms he would either lose it responding on here or jump off a building. |

I disagree as I think it is more than a coincidence that employees who regularly posted all left at approximately the same time not to return for months while at the same time the Score was advocating a greater Twitter and Facebook presence under the brand name for its on air talent. |

My guess is that Buster is one of Larry's producers or drinky. |

Seems reasonable. Remember Mac publicly stating the future was Facebook? Also remember how Bernstien had several on air conversations with fellow employees on how to set up their Twitter names? It just seemed much too concerted not to have been a corporate mandate. |

Keeping Score wrote: Here's the deal, that Buster post happened at 7:58pm, on 1/25 which was a Friday night. Bernsie and Drinky broadcast from Once Upon A Bagel that day in Highland Park, and I would assume went home after that. They're out. Laurence was broadcasting from Soxfest that night. He's out. Rongey was with him at Soxfest. He's out. The only other two it could be, who were mentioned as part of Laurence's show that night were Herb Lawrence and Joe Ostrowski. Herb was listed as the sound guy, and Joe O. as executive producer. So you radio guys probably know which one of those two jobs require you to be in the studio. And I'm gonna say it wasn't "black on black" crime and eliminate Herb as a suspect. I just don't think Herb would call Larry "creepy". That leaves Joe O, Larry's interns, the update guy and sales people. Although I don't think sales people would be in the studio that late. And I don't think an intern would post something like that. I just don't think a Larry intern would know Spiegel well enough to call him an "Emotional Wreck". So was Ranger the update guy from Sox fest or did they have somebody else that day? |

I would think there is a lot of hate and resentment from all of the Score producers towards the full-time hosts. This is a good place for them to get it all out. Cuz if they bottle it up, one day they might just explode and kill one of them. We just saw it with Spiegel and Drinky. Mully once threw Goff's shit in the garbage. Mac kicked Goff off his show. Bernstein rarely lets drinky co host with him. The hosts do have this "I'm better than you" attitude towards all of the Score producers. They do look down on them and treat them like scum. The producers feel it. They must. They resent that these sports talkers make 5 to 10 times as much as they do. I'm sure most of them think they can do better shows than the regular hosts. |

I don't think anyone treats Mac's producers like crap. Finji and Zawaski seem pretty respected. And no one really cares about M&H's producers except for when that one caveman turns a mic on to make unsolicited dumbass proclamations. Sounds more like it's just a Matt/Jason thing. I know I bring it up a lot/too much, but when I interned at ESPN Milwaukee, I was struck by what a team effort it was. It was a much smaller shop than the Score, and trying to do full-service sports radio in a market that really just wants to listen to the Packers or talk about the Packers always was and still is an uphill battle. Recognizing this, there was very much a feel that we were all in it together, and so everyone cooperated really well and respected one another (people even respected me!) because quite frankly there wasn't a margin for bitch shit. Quite a contrast from the Score, it would seem. |

Yeah. You're right. Mac does do well by his own producers. He tries to help them advance (See Finfer and Spiegel) and I think he's the only guy at the Score that gives his producers a cut of his bonus checks. Mac and Spiegel might just hate Goff and Drinky like you suggested, Curious Hair. Because they don't act like subordinates and they bring that B&B cocky attitude with them at all times. I get the feeling drinky walks around the station like he owns the mother fucker. I don't know much about the morning producers. Except I know that one dumb ass you speak of says stupid stuff cuz it's been posted here. But they don't seem to be talked much about by B&B and they never get shows of their own. I think Terry cares about Drinky but he doesn't have much influence to help him. Bernstein does but I don't think he gives a damn about drinky. I also don't think Terry and Bernstein even consider giving their producers a cut of their bonus checks. |

I think producers, executive producers, interns, etc...get placed accordingly. I have a hard time believing that the Score or any business operation randomly decides who works with who. Sure, the company noobs may have an opportunity to work/learn from everyone, but I think it's clear early on who and who should not be a "mentor." It's a personality alignment that MUST happen in order for things to work. So, think about the different shows and the various personalities that work on them. |

I've caught some of Finfer and Mac hosting together. And you can tell Finfer knows he's a subordinate. He's very deferential and respectful to Mac. Never confrontational. Laughs at Mac's jokes and kind of agrees with everything the almighty one says. You can tell he's very grateful for the chance that Mac has given him. I guess you can call it ass-kissing but hey, that's why Mac gave him the sub job. Goff was the exact opposite of Finfer and that's why Mac fired him. |
