This show has swung and missed quite a bit lately. Most of their humor these days seems to derive from making fun of scripted callers. Bernstein has been as insufferable as ever and the show has taken on an increasingly mean spirited tone. They had the german pop group thing that wasn't funny and the old black blues singer that brought about two laughs, but this Boyardee thing... this thing is the best comedy to come from this show in years. If they're smart they'll keep it going for as long as they can. I recommend they play more clips from the chef, he should definitely be heard from much more. They should also come up with some sort of a segment involving Boyardee. So lets forget about this Penn state nonsense and stick with the gold they found in Boyardee.

What makes Chef Boyardee so funny is that in and of itself it's not really that funny. And yet the Chef's continuing efforts to come in are absurdly funny.

True. It's not supposed to be funny but it just is. It's completely absurd and has nothing to do with anything. When they're just talking about some random thing and you hear "may I come in?" in the background it's pure comedy gold.

Next time Kid Cairo does a round of B&B uploads, I sent him a segment from last October where Terry makes a grand pronouncement to let the Chef in and that the Chef is on his "Open The Door And Let Him In" list.

The best is when the Chef asks "Hello. May I come in?" and Clark answers "yes."

I'd rather hear from Boyardee's wife and kids.

Aw, Clark looks like he is not a well man. I had never actually seen the clip. This makes me feel bad. :(

I would anticipate an FDA approved serving of Catholic diddling jokes.

He doesn't look too bad. He looks like a relatively strong, healthy man. He's not hunched over and dying and shit.

I thought it was some kid doing a voice. It looks like a guy who smoked himself half to death.

What are you talking about? He looks stout. Sure his voice his shit but that could be because of anything, perhaps it naturally progressed that way.

The Chef Boyardee thing is old school B&B seeping though. For those of you who have grown disenchanted with the show this is a beacon of light, there is still hope.
