So the show/Drink ball had an incredibly original idea from the CSFMB and is having a HOF for candidates the show can think up. Who gets in? I'm sticking with Beardown all day every day. He clearly made this happen. Vote early, vote often... the voice of the people as dictated to us by the show shall prevail! |

As stupid as Rusty.....this bit. But, hey, good thing they unveiled this the day that the "mastermind" called in sick/injured. Maybe he should have chugged some 5 Hour Energy? |

Don't forget One-Step-Oncology or whatever else Dan is on the board of. David Hockberg has a serious chance at getting into the HOF because I'm sure spawning "Hello fitness friend" and Terry's evolutionary screams are indeed part of the show's legend and lore. |

Actually, does Bob T from Stuart's Coffee get a mention here? He got even more colloquial airtime than David Hockberg; I remember the days when new Bob T copy was "a thing." I think Hockberg gets in b4 Bob T cuz if you turn your back on the show, even if you were such a part of it that your product routinely got plugged in the "entertainment portions" of the show, there is still hell to pay for abandoning ship. I wonder if any of the ALS callers get in. It's a slippery slope since if you nominate one or two of them (non-bit/real callers, unlike Rusty or Mike from Milwaukee) where do you stop? If Schmutzie_ gets nominated, you know there will be legitimate passive/aggressive butthurt from Maddux Boy or TFM. You damb well know these guys would trade a kidney to get in cuz it would validate their existences, and I'm sure the guts are pondering doing this, if anything to provide a template for new/er listeners/callers to figure out how to become "a pretty big deal" with the show. The best part = if any ALS are nominated there's no way in hell anyone elects them in and by the rules if you don't make it in once you'll never have the chance of being on the ballot again. This means we could definitively show the ALS what we think of them; get your non-voting fingers ready, true believers! |

Someone should scam and call in as a NBA player from the seventies (some benchwarmer somewhere) and say I am gay, have CTE and have been abused as a child by a football coach in PA. But I turned my life around and am now a doctor but also a lawyer so that I can be really smart and fight for black studs. Of course unfortunately, I have terminal cancer and look to you Dan Bernstein for all you do to send cancer kids to be diddled in camp. I made a last request to Jerry Reinsdorf that he granted... To sign Kappernick. |

If the state of Arizona didn't have such a rampant distrust of the public sector, Reinsdorf would have bought the Coyotes by having a TIF district established that would funnel its revenue to him, who would in turn pay the NHL, while maintaining the option to sell the team and keep the money for himself. Fortunately, it turned out that such a scheme is illegal there. I guess he doesn't always CLOSE. BUSINESS. DEALS after all! Anyway, I'm so glad he's only ruining two of the three leagues I like. |

Sounds more like a copy of the Deadspin HOF than this place.... If they really need 90% then that's pretty tough. I'm guessing Mike from Milwaukee would be the only one to hit that level. If it drops towards a more reasonable 85%, then you could get George Ofman in (if they are even allowed to nominate him.) |

I think they really dropped the ball by making this thing a referendum on their favorite things about their own show. A real HOF would work out like the tournament of bad, however, if the situation broke bad you'd have unflattering stuff potentially hostile towards advertisers/friends-of-the-program in the show's HOF, which is the top priority here. that's why this bit is ~85% likely to be lame-o stuff, cuz the last thing i need is an edgy authoritarian douche like drinky telling me what i like and why it's legend to me. |

They should get off Lance Armstrong's ass. I just read an article by a really smart cytologist about the dangers of synthetic Erythropoietin and it turns out she's a really big Floyd Landis fan. Isn't that interesting? |

They should adopt a sabermetrics approach and run a statitiscal analysis of airtime various topics achieved. Those topics with the most airtime get into the BBHOF. |

They said that the nominees would need to surpass a 90% threshold to gain entry into the HOF. That's pretty steep when you're relying on the votes of the general public. |

Are Fangraphs, Darren Rovell, and Malcolm Gladwell eligible for individual induction, or are they all included under the banner of Really Smart People? I would also nominate Summer Camp Matt Bowen David Hochberg The Entire Calculus (subject to change) |

How is this going to work? Are listeners going to vote for their favorite callers/faxers/emailers/texters to the B&B show over the past 12(?) years? |
