I think its funny. I don't have a problem with it. I don't know how they can crusade they way they have and return to it.

Yeah it doesn't make much sense to be the team that broke the Sandusky story and brought it to national promeneance and now to go back to TB Diddlers. But I guess after Dan and Terry single handedly forced the pope to retire they figured they were on a roll.

Dan broke the Sandusky story, TB Diddlers is Terry's. Different. Sometimes a salamander behind a particle accelerator starts reminiscing about lost glory, but a trout inside a condor always wakes up!

Fair enough but I just think the tone of the show has changed from when TB Diddlers first came out the show was irreverant and that bit reflected that tone. Now that they have transitioned to super serious champions of justice it doesn't seem to fit any longer. However, I will admit to not having listened much at all in the past year.

Personally, I've always liked the spots. One of the things that made B&B irreverent and unique back in the day. They've long since abandoned doing that type of show. They've become the "smart fans" show. Sorry, they don't get to ride the fence anymore. They chose the path they're on now.

Speaking of Maddux Douche, I turned in yesterday to hear this caller going on and on comparing Pat Fitzgerald to Manti Te'o. Then Dan starts telling him how interesting that is. I thought, "Wow, he's being pretty tolerant with this goof." Then they say, "Thanks Maddux Boy!" Mystery solved. :roll:

I've never heard it done in reference to kids. Just gay stuff.

People are digging in deeper becasue they went so hard on the Penn State stuff. Sometimes we see/hear things based on biases...

because they went so hard on the Penn State stuff is exactly why they should held to a higher standard than they were in the past.

I will give you that TB Diddlers is completely innocuous in regards to children but you cannot just claim complete ignorance of the more common uses of the term, especially when being used in a sexually graphic situation

It's exactly because of the Penn State stuff.

If you want to cast stones at someone for having a Penn State sticker on their bumper expect it back when you do a bit about diddling.

Not really. They are doing an entertainment based show. Last I checked, this place isn't real and children aren't mentioned in any way. There are plenty of hypocritical things that have taken place on this show, but this isn't one of them.

I'm surprised nobody has taken the offensive to gay people angle which is valid. The Penn State stuff is a reach.

That said, can't wait to hear this stuff. The goffy stuff is what first drew me to this show...
