The "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?' Tavern Tour" takes Terry & Dan B. to NIU terrority this afternoon starting @ 1P. The guys are live from Fatty's Pub & Grille, 1312 Lincoln Highway in DeKalb this afternoon. They'll have Bulls' tickets to give away for a "future game" at United Center during this afternoon's 2nd stop of the Tavern Tour season. Speaking of the Bulls, after 3 bizarre, vague Tweets from the franchise, an ESPNChicago.com report today revealed that Derrick Martell Rose has been medically cleared to return, but there appears to be one more holdup before #1 would suit up regarding his left knee. If Rose returns, it won't be tonight as the Bulls return home for a game with former DePaul star turned Jazz HC Tyrone Corbin brings his Utah team into United Center for their only visit of the season. Might it come Sunday in a rare ABC game vs. Kobe Bryant & the Lakers in Los Angeles? Might it be possibly Wednesday in what could be the Bulls' last visit to Sacramento? Might it be one week from tonight vs. the Warriors in Oakland? Nobody seems to know, but this latest Rose story will be front & center, as well as... *Brian Urlacher Staying w/the Bears? *Blackhawks (Minus Sharp) Rematch the Avalanche in Denver *The Latest From Spring Training *Northwestern Basketball HC Bill Carmody: On the Way Out? *"Friday Fung: Daredevil or Dumbass?" @ 4P |

Damn, I love Fatty's in Dekalb. I used to live right across the street from there with the biggest Caller Bob of a landlord you could ever meet. |

Might they get a visit from new NIU Football HC Rod Carey during their visit to Fatty's? During football season in recent years, now former NIU HC Dave Doeren pulled up a chair and joined the guys live on site. |

Zach Zaidman has the "Scoreboards" this afternoon. As for the Friday Game Plan from Fatty's: *3:30P: "The Second Half" *4P: "Friday Fung: Daredevil or Dumbass?" A Boers' Personal Favorite That's all they have planned...for now. Terry's "two favorite words", Laurence Holmes follows @ 6P with another "full boat show". Holmes' EP Joe Ostrowski has the latenight SCORE starting @ 10P. Ostrowski will be on until Amy Lawrence signs on from New York with CBS Sports Radio's "After Hours" starting @ 1A Saturday morning. |

Why not just call it winter break part deux? |

I agree with Bernsie that this "Derrick is cleared to play" thing is a plant by the Bulls, but I also think its a dick move on their part. |

If you read the article it's clear it's a plant from the Bulls. Mellisa Issacson said she got it from a "team source". So it's not like Bernstein has uncovered something. It's in the first paragraph. http://espn.go.com/chicago/nba/story/_/id/9031045/derrick-rose-chicago-bulls-cleared-play-waiting-dunk-confidently-left-foot-source-saysbefore When I first read it I thought the "team source" was Paxon. In fact, I'm certain it was him. He wants him out there. |
