I don’t know if any of you fellow Score streamers ever stop to look at the photo gallery that scrolls across the stream window, but I happened to do so today, and it is undeniably A Thing. The following are actual captions for these photos, presented unedited and in their entirety: Quote: Danny Granger looked like he hadn’t played all season in a 1-10 shooting effort in his come back game. Luckily the Pacers, who with their defensive prowess, seem the only team in the East who can beat Heat. (Apropos of nothing: the photo that accompanied the above caption was taken by a Getty photographer named “Allen Einstein.”) Quote: The watch for Derrick Rose continues as earlier comments by him suggested he might sit out this season and then in a subsequent practice he played well. In the meantime, the Bulls got weatherized in thumping by both the Heat and Thunder. Quote: The Mavs are playing as professionals but one of several teams looking to get in the potential Dwight Howard sweepstakes as he becomes a free agent this summer. Quote: The Bucks traded for shooter J.J. Redick but another bad defensive guard to the mix ultimately may not help them. Quote: Ever since the Sonics left Seattle and became the Thunder, the Blazers seem like it has lost its frenemy in their former Pacific Northwest neighbor and rival. Fans would love a similar rivalry to start again if the Kings move to Seattle. Quote: This conglomeration of players just didn’t fit. The sum was not greater than the parts. The Suns rejoined the Morris twins (Marcus traded from Houston) to join brother Markieff. Quote: Considered moving the Thunder up to #2 and next week is likely if, as expected, they get a win tonight against the Spurs. The galleries are hosted on the CBS Chicago page. I found myself wondering if the captions were written by a Score intern or if they were outsourced to the Philippines. Then I realized: what’s the difference? |

Laughing heartily at "weatherized in thumping," "conglomeration of players," and "only team who can beat Heat." This is what I miss listening over the air. |

I didn't know the Morris twins were conjoined. Rejoining them must have been a very risky (and, IMHO, ultimately foolhardy) surgical procedure. |

With quotes like that, it's only a matter of time before they offer you cheap high-quality jerseys. |

Doesn't Bernstein have better uses for his time than writing captions? |
