Today we get an hour of Boers solo from 1-2. And Matty's in Dublin so he can't lean on him. This is a once in a decade experience. Clear your schedule.

He should just open the phone lines for an hour long Ask Terry segment. I bet it would be very funny. Terry has had more life experiences than anyone else at the station.

That's the plan...for 55 minutes in advance of Cubs/White Sox in Glendale, AZ. When the ballgame goes final, Terry's "two favorite words" follows...for approximately 1 hour from Real Time Sports in Elk Grove Village before The SCORE's much-publicized roast of Jeremy Roenick at Belvedere Banquets.

You know those words... NBC5's Cheryl Scott knows those words, too.

How do you know, SHARK? Are you 100% sure of that statement?

I'm reasonably sure Boers has NEVER driven a solo show in the 21 years he's been at The SCORE. This should be good...even if it's just 55 minutes.

you realize its going to comprise of 10min bullshit lead in, 40min of commercials and 10min of actual talking.... and absolutely nothing of substance will be said whatsoever.

I think I remember Terry doing a solo show on a Saturday in '93 or '94. I remember him being partnered with someone on Saturday's during college football season around that time, but I seem to remember him being solo at least once.

well, we all know how horrible dan is when hes solo. i am a little curious to see how terry does it... but i agree i bet he just plays off the producer the whole hour.

hes probably dreading this more then anything hes done in the last 15 years. i know he doesnt like working, and he probably came up with every excuse to get out of this... but money is money so he will find a way to mail it in.

Actually, Bernstein has done a capable job as a solo host, Ike. He was good enough in the "eyes" (get it?) of CBS Sports Radio to guest host on the sports talk radio network's opening weekend. When The SCORE had aired "The Dan Patrick Show", albeit long before DIRECTV's Audience Network & NBC Sports Network started airing it on TV, Bernstein guest hosted a few times and seemed to be at ease on his own. It also helped that Patrick's show is very guest-driven.

Terry has hosted solo before, I'm 100% sure of it. Dan has left early for events and etc. and Terry has gone solo. It's not a good listen. Neither one of the guys are any good solo. I'll still listen though.
