Post subject:  4/4: Bernstein: Alford Already Lying at UCLA
Once again today, an afternoon Royals/White Sox game on The SCORE/White Sox Radio Network means a late start for the "Boers & Bernstein Show". The guys' start time today hinges how long the Sox game goes, let alone Chris Rongey's "Xfinity Postgame" from U.S. Cellular Field after the ballgame.

One topic sure to be discussed, quite possibly in further tomorrow when the guys are at Cork & Kerry at the Park not far from the ballpark for the "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?' Tavern Tour" live broadcast, is the following column Bernstein wrote about new UCLA HC Steve Alford. Bernsy says Coach Alford is "Already Lying", and Steve has yet to coach his first game in Westwood. Bernsy explains here:

The White Sox game is over. They lost to the Royals 3-1. I think these guys will be on around 4:45P this afternoon. Unfortunately, "Who Ya Crappin'?" will NOT be heard today, much to Gary from Evanston's dismay.

Terry's "two favorite words", Laurence Holmes, follows the guys at 6P with another "full boat show". Connor McKnight will have updates on the Holmes show this eve and will have the latenight SCORE from 10P-Midnight. "SCORE Overnight" with Les Grobstein & Adam Harris follows at Midnight.

I like that THE VOICE OF THE CHICAGO SPORTS FAN consists of verbatim readings of Joe Sheehan, boilerplate discussions of left fielders being Bad At Defense, vicious rants about the continued existence of fans, and vulgar outbursts from Terry. Sounds about right!

I wish it were self-aware, but CBS Radio is such an Irony-Free Zone that SHARK could be a successful executive there. (PM squad!)
