"Stop trying to make people happy."

The perfect motto for this show.

Terry said they got "real damn basketball every year in the 80s." Here are the scores...

1989 Michigan (30-7) Steve Fisher 80-79 (OT) Seton Hall Seattle, Wash.
1988 Kansas (27-11) Larry Brown 83-79 Oklahoma Kansas City, Mo.
1987 Indiana (30-4) Bob Knight 74-73 Syracuse New Orleans, La.
1986 Louisville (32-7) Denny Crum 72-69 Duke Dallas, Texas
1985 Villanova (25-10) Rollie Massimino 66-64 Georgetown Lexington, Ky,
1984 Georgetown (34-3) John Thompson 84-75 Houston Seattle, Wash.
1983 North Carolina State (26-10) Jim Valvano 54-52 Houston Albuquerque, N.M.
1982 North Carolina (32-2) Dean Smith 63-62 Georgetown New Orleans, La.
1981 Indiana (26-9) Bob Knight 63-50 North Carolina Philadelphia, Pa.
1980 Louisville (33-3) Denny Crum 59-54 UCLA Indianapolis, Ind.

Those scores don't exactly imply "real damn basketball" as only nine of the twenty teams reached the magical 70-point clip.

Did they also say "All the best players are freshman" even though virtually none of the best players were freshman, and in most years the best players aren't freshman?

Not exactly breaking news to me.

By the way, when the hell are they going to update the schedule on 670thescore.com? It still shows March 25th...so 2 weeks ago! :x As Coach Thibs would say...

Hard to tell, but I knew that myself on the Bulls Radio Network flagship.

yeah, but he's almost intimating that BJ is part of the reason he's not playing, which would be saying something...

well then props to Jurko. That amazes me if it's true. B.J. should be ashamed of himself. Not like everyone was climbing over themselves for him when the Bulls chose Pax.

Guys, I think the perception is B.J. wants to stick it to his former team. He was the Assistant GM who got passed over for the Bulls' GM job once Jerry Krause got fired in 2003. I think B.J. is one of the reasons why Derrick Rose hasn't returned from his torn ACL and Rose might not come back until the Bulls report to training camp in October.

if Derrick doesn't play summer league ball then he's a moron. I still don't personally mind him not coming back this season.

you know, the show hasn't been that bad today. it could be cuz i've got mlb.tv/mobile and i'm primarily focuased on baseball, or that kate upton / justin verlander's pubic hair have gotten significant airtime.

I know it's not baseball, but I thought I saw something a couple months ago suggesting that Derrick Rose rehab with the Bulls' NBA D-League team in Des Moines. Seriously. I understand it may be beneath him, but in baseball, injured players all the time go down to the minor leagues as a final stage of rehab before they return...

Only 1st and 2nd year players are eligible to go to the D-League to rehab.
