During the 6th inning today: "The Two Gutless Wonders" "They been after Reinsdorf since he been here" (strange statement. Reinsdorf been around longer than B&B I think) "Two Jay Mariotti Wanna be's" "they think they they invented the sports of baseball, basketball, football and hockey"

I'm flipping around the channels of a Sunday sports TV smorgasbord (NBA, NHL, MLB and Nascar) with when I land on the Sox. Yeah, I had to pause and rewind the DVR to make sure of what I was hearing. The primary reason to listen to Hawk is for an emotional/verbal meltdown, but now that he's decided to resurrect his toughguy/toughtalk act it may be worth giving more of a listen. Maybe a text/twitter campaign to encourage him may help to make his broadcasts something worth listening. |

I don't know what B&B said that they don't always say but Hawk started it all by saying "I got a call [or text I forget which he said] from a friend who said 'B&B were at it again'" and then he went into the rest of his rant which was really just the 4-5 lines I posted earlier. But no explanation what his beef was about, just a couple cheap shots.

I think Boers and Bernstein ought to set up a Bud Light Tavern Tour remote on a Home Game Friday afternoon at The Bacardi Club!!! Invite Hawkeroo to pull up a chair!!!! I wouldn't miss it!!!!! |
