If anything could said about Bernstein is that he has an all or nothing perspective to sports. If your team isn't in contention for a title, then they're not worth watching according to him. The bottom line is your team can make the playoffs very exciting to watch even if they won't win the whole thing. The Bulls Celtics series of a few years ago was an excellent example of that.
