This guy just called in about 2:50pm, and asked dan and ferry about derricks contract. Since he is the one choosing not to play, at what point do you dock his pay? or can you? And I myself know this season is in the books, hes getting paid... but what about next season? what if he sits then? I know contracts in the NBA are guaranteed, but can a player sign and then just simply walk away? Seems like a great way to retire early without any risk of permanent injury. |
