It seems to have died on the vine rather quickly. Quite surprising since li'l danny is usually like a dog on a bone with this type of stuff. Is the Score trying to land the Hawks? Did a directive come down to shut the fuck up? Inquiring minds want to know.

If I had to guess JORR I would say you are close. Someone came in and said STFU they are money to the score or they want rights. Big Dan of course STFU. If CBS said Penn St. is gonna be involved with them he would also do it. Do you thinks Dan's causes trump a paycheck? I don't.

And what happened to #TeamSusannah the whole station declared war on the Blackhawks the next 48 hours after the firing.

Obviously this controversy has cost the Blackhawks the focus needed to win the Cup. Thanks Bernstine.

Seems most likely to me his goal was to point out the hypocrisy, not have actual results.

It's not about broadcast rights. The Hawks and WGN re-upped through, like, forever, so that's not even on the Score's radar. I also doubt anything came from up top, since the Score has been shitting on the Blackhawks for years and all McDonough has done is keep letting them use a luxury box. Most likely: Dan just got bored, forgot, or found something more important to be righteously indignant about. Occam's Razor.

Mac said the other day that the Score doesn't have a box at the UC anymore.

I didn't know the Score had a box all season. I figured the Hawks just retained one for entertaining one media group or another, and sometimes they let the Score use it.

it wasn't nearly as fun/successful as the "Hump Bobby Dull" campaign?

Wait a minute, here. Dan states his case and doesn't continue to bring it up week after week and he's backing down. Lance Armstrong, Penn State and other issues that continued to be talked about were considered PTFB issues.
Pick a lane.

If he drops a subject, he's painted a pansy. If he continues on a subject, it's too much for some and time to turn off the show.
Some here just want to complain about B and B -- pure and simple.

He dropped it because they stopped getting people to call in about it.

It was a failed trolling attempt.

I guess people were wondering why he didn't treat the Hull story (which is admittedly old) like he treated the Collins story. Maybe Bobby Hull speaks for him?

The Cubs did the "Dump Bobby Hill" campaign when they traded him to Pittsburgh for A-Ram.

You don't think Dan wanted to tearfully read an email on the air from a listener about how the "Dumb Bobby Hull" campaign changed him?

My "JR sucks for not fullfilling his deal to rebuild Mc Cuddy's" campaign fell on deaf ears in 2005.
