.......unless you have "friends" that "knew" him and said he was a nice guy.

Wow...just wow.

Following the demise of Bernstein via Twitter and the board is so much better than being a regular listener.
I still love to hate him (duh) but the actual show can only be handled in a very small sample size.

I agree to a point.

Some people (my mother) act as if a family member died.

So Gandolfini's death doesn't warrant the Olympic music?

I wonder if any of those terminal One Step kids know that Dan won't be the least bit upset when they pass?

Instead of being upset, he should just send money....

in that case, if bernstien got shot 45 times in the face and left to rot as maggots ate the flesh off his bones, i wouldnt be upset at all.

Most overrated show ever. Deadwood and The Wire massacre that piece of shit.

Then again I actually grew up with friends whose dads were in and out of prison (mostly in) for being goombahs of the highest order. Spousal and mental abuse, alcoholism, general baggery, etc, etc. Yeah, this country is a little fucked in the head for romanticizing those thugs.

Come on you have to give the show at least a little credit. Without The Sopranos, Deadwood and The Wire probably wouldn't exist.

Agreed, very over rated show. I stopped watching the sopranos after 2.5 seasons.

The wire n deadwood much much better. Along with many others.

I'm torn as to whether this post is about the Sopranos or Boers & Bernstein.

I would be a little concerned as to if the person(s) who is shooting people 45 times in the face is still roaming our streets or not.

It is kind of ironic. Tony Saprano was a drug addict and over weight. So Bernstein attitude, if consistent, should be "Fat druggies die. This fat druggie died. So what? Don't feel sorry for him."

Because, if you remember, Bernstein said of Whitney Houston, "The crack whore bitch died cuz she was a crack whore bitch. Why is America crying for her?"

We know the difference in stances. Whitney Houston was black.

He's right, SS. My dad's friends grew up in the 1870s in South Dakota. You'd be surprised at just how real Deadwood was.

Chris Christie ordered the flags in NJ to half staff for Gandolfini.
