Len Rongey on talking about the Cubs.

This guy is starting to bug the crap out of me.

Len Kasper? Why? Dude seems fine. Heck, HOF compared to the occupants of the South side tv broadcast booth.

Too cocky. Too sure of himself. Like a slightly smarter Chris Rongey.

Slightly smarter? Kasper is one of the best in the business. Too cocky? Not sure what there is
to get cocky about with the Cubs. I haven't him say anything off base at all.

Len is fantastic. Between Len and Pat Hughes, Cubs have one of the best broadcasts in the majors.

Whoever is in the Cubs booth is the de facto "best in the business".

Too bad Keith Moreland is also part of that broadcast.

He bugs me. Bet he was the biggest dork in school, now he thinks he's a cool guy. By definition a baseball play-by-play guy must be a dork.

No one ever said that about Chip Caray, Joe Carter, Dwayne Stats or Ron Santo

Hughes, Stone, Len and Brenly are all good

Staats. Same backward as forward. He wasn't too bad. Who was that snotty nosed Caller Bob that left for the reds. What a douche he was.

Thom Brennaman? He went to do national football/baseball for Fox (and then the D-bags after that).

What was your take on the Chris Singleton experience on the South side? He worked it into a national gigitty too.

BRUTAL!! But the worst ever was Gary Thorne.

Gary Thorne coasts on his pipes alone. Everyone wants him back on the NHL, but if you actually listen to the words that come out of his mouth when he calls a hockey game, he doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about.

He sounded like he was doing hockey when he was doing baseball. He didn't know the first thing about baseball. How the hell did they hire that guy? Only the Sox...

What a phony phuck he was. Steve Dahl used to do a good John Rooney with that fake broadcaster voice. I hated him from day 1. He was all fake excited -- I was like dude, you just got here, how could you really care that much.

For some reason he just comes off plain. He needs to quit being so boringly diplomatic. He needs to stop sounding like Kermit the Frog somehow too. But he uses stats and reads Fangraphs so I guess he's amazing.

He's the new generation of college educated professional play by play snooze fests.

He's doing Baltimore's games now, by the way, if you have mlb.tv and want to check in on him.
