That entire article and not one mention of the women in Aspen with the enormous bush. That was the highlight of the documentary. |

Club has better sense than to dedicate over 9,000 words to the fucking Eagles. |

How's everyone liking Grantland now that it's basically become an even shittier version of The A.V. Club? I like most of their sports columns. I have clicked on one pop culture column and had no idea what they were saying. I have not clicked on one since. |

We need to rescue Down Goes Brown from that place before he starts writing columns like "Is Patrick Kane the Kanye West of Hockey?" |

Curious Hair wrote: We need to rescue Down Goes Brown from that place before he starts writing columns like "Is Patrick Kane the Kanye West of Hockey?" As with all major sports websites hockey gets shafted. Zach Lowe is an amazing NBA writer, Jonah Keri does a credible job with baseball and then there are a group of writers who contribute football articles. But for hockey it's just listmania with DGB and Katie Baker. Terrible. |

Has Katie Baker ever had anything memorable to say other than "hey, I like the Rangers"? |

But she worked at Goldman Sachs and went to Yale! And she somehow wound up at Deadspin! What a weird, wacky, and white professional career! |

Gawker's addition of author headshots has somehow confirmed my suspicions that every Gawker employee is an utterly unsufferable trust fund baby. |

I used to wonder why Barry Petchesky has a tattoo in the vicinity of his trachea. I wonder no more: http://deadspin.com/5501429/i-was-there ... ddamn-neck Quote: Those were heady days in March of 2002. Sarah Hughes was America's sweetheart. The war in Afghanistan had just begun. And 50-odd seniors from New York's Stuyvesant High School lit out for a week in Nassau, Bahamas. I'm not surprised that a Gawker writer went to one of the best and most selective public schools in the nation, but I am surprised that he did so and still came out so shitty at writing. |

IB, please tell me you saw Barnwell's piece on Emery. It's magnificently awful. We took a few good whacks at it here, but the more the merrier. |
