Literally 60% of his articles are designed to mock those he deems less intelligent. Also people who aren't as undeniably hilarious as he is. Ill start. #Cubes is not a thing. No one says it and you pushing it hasnt worked. Also, there has to be some serious Self doubt inside of a person who spends so much time trying to point out how dumb everyone else is. Lots of therapy needed Delivering pizzas as a second job is not curing cancer and if you spend so much time ripping others, dont get so uptight when they take a shot at the "Genius who got stuck delivering pizzas" |

I probably have read some of his work but for the life of me cannot remember the content. Anyway, teaching English in Beverly must be similar to being a missionary sent to the farthest reaches of the planet. I give him credit for trying to bring a written language to those bastard sons of Hibernia. |

I find the fact that his bio says "Tim Baffoe attended the University of Iowa before graduating from Governor's State" to be particulraly pathetic. |

In truth, I feel like Ten Foot Midget has a sense of humor about himself. I think he could fit in on this board and contribute something and think it's a shame he has only chosen to shamelessly pander for votes and run away. |

Yes, I should have included this in the first post, but I like a lot of his comments. I mean just one line on a story he posts. He posts some interesting stuff. But even a good portion of that is "look at these dumb people" He has a sense of humor about himself, that's true. He also takes himself too seriously in two aspects. Firstly as as sports fan with the constant meatball articles and secondly as a "funny person" He's posted a couple times things like "You're not funny and funny people like me are offended" posts about things. He's not particularly funny. I mean he's not unfunny. He'd be maybe the 15th, 16th funniest poster here. |

This board is full of 10 FT Midgets. We don't need another one. But, if he did show back up, all you people who disparaged this Western Ave wordsmith would soon be kissing his ass like you do every other Score personality that posts here. |

He always struck me as a dbag. I honestly have no idea what his role is at the station, but his asslicking combined with his Bernstein-esque disdain for "meatballs" always seemed bit too "thou doth protest too much" to me. I don't know, but if you're going to stand in judgment of your "fellow fan" and their intelligence (or lack thereof) why would you be advertising the fact that you do a teenage kids' job at night to make some extra scratch? |

TFM is so obvious in his motives. He is a HS English teacher who sucked enough dick to write a practically free blog for the Score. It is embarrassing. If they thought you were good, they'd pay you for it. I feel sorry for him... almost. |

Deadspin (well, Drew Magary) is doing the annual Why Your NFL Team Sucks feature right now. Part of each one is to feature emails from the teams' fans, confirming why their teams suck. Of course, it's usually less about the team on the field than the fan culture: fat people, loud people, drunk people, so on. Well, this noble commenter on the Packers' piece just ruined the whole damn thing: Quote: While I love this feature, the "fan" letters can be of the most criminal of garbage. Yeah, the fans of bad teams embody the classic "I hope it will turn out OK, but I know it won't" and can inspire truly memorable rants (that ZMF one is awesome - that is classic Sheild-era AV Club OWNAGE), but they have a distinct "my teams sucks! feel sorry for me! Please?!" you-owe-me-for-my-choices patheticness that would embarass a gutterpunk whining for change to buy PBR. Sad, but acceptable compared to the alternative. The fans of the 'good' teams (the Superbowl Winners)? The worst case of wish-everyone-one-was-as-good-a-fan-as-me-humblebrag-itis I've ever seen. It could be a fucking template: "Our overweight, lazy, smelly, unemployed, drunken fans (But not me! I assure you, I am none of those adjectives) don't know anything about football (But I do! Just ask me! Ooh, Ooh, my hand is raised, I can answer that! Acknowledge my football brain!). Every year when we make the playoffs (ahem *self high five*) and lose (even if your team hasn't been in years, you should feel sorry for us that we lost) the idiots (again, NOT me) call our terrible local sports radio (which, for hating it so much, I am surprisingly informed about) and want to get rid of [AWESOME PLAYER] (did I mention we have AWESOME PLAYER yet? No, OK. We have AWESOME PLAYER). Even though we've won several Superbowls in my liftime (seriously, we WON super bowls, like more than your team for sure) the ungrateful morons (once more - NOT me. I am not ungrateful that WE MAKE THE PLAYOFFS CONSTANTLY and HAVE WON SUPERBOWLS. Even if I am writing to slag off my team, city, and fellow fans)! And the people in our city? They do that one thing that I'm sure will make you say "You know, I hate that too! We should be friends!". Christ. Fuck. Ugh. These fans. They're terrible (but, remember NOT ME. I am the perfect fan). Could be applied, with a few tweaks, to pretty much everything Baffoe has ever written. |

http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2014/01/21/ ... d-sherman/ I kind of quit reading after this point but this passage, this line of thought is fascinating and really telling. I've never thought this way about athletes in general, certain athletes when given a reason but not just as a general mindset - Quote: Sherman’s intelligence frightens people. The one thing we’ve traditionally had over athletes is that, despite their talent and money and celebrity, we would always be allowed to feel smarter than them. They’re jocks, so they’re supposed to be dumb enough for us to still salvage some superiority over them and feel good about ourselves without completely devoting ourselves to a completely superior false idol.
