I really don't listen enough to know for sure if turd in the punch bowl radio will apply to last nights demise of Heisenberg but I'm guessing it will. "Nope I've never seen one minute of that show". |

"Nope I've never seen one minute of that show". I remember hearing Terry say something once to the effect of "I'm not watching that crap (Breaking Bad)." Then he and Matty will have an at length discussion about Downton Abby or Sons of Anarchy. I'm sure those are good shows, but the pudwack immediately dismissed Breaking Bad as "crap." |

I watched the spinoff, Ed Farmer Wants a Wife. "So do you cook? That's important to me. My last partner didn't know how to cook. You know who really can cook, though, is my friend. My good friend Giada. Giada De Laurentiis. Maybe you've heard of her. I wouldn't be surprised if you have. We go way back, actually. We were both waiting for our botox treatments and got to talking when she said to me, 'you know, Ed, you have a very dry sense of humor,' and I said 'I do. I'm a very dry person.' This is true, by the way. I can't drink. And then I said, 'In fact, I only eat dry food.' And she was eating a salad at the time, and she laughed. I said 'Even my salad is dry.' And she laughed some more. And then she said 'well, I'll make you a dry salad, then!', and that's more or less how I invented kale chips. 3 and 1 on A.J. here." |

Very good TV. The show dipped after Steve Carell left in Season 7, but it was still watchable until the final season (Season 9). Stay the fuck away from Season 9. |

Season 5 is where I abandoned ship. Seasons 2/3/4 are all-time great television. 1 is very good but finding its legs; 5 is very good but showing cracks. |

Once the Pam/Jim story arc concluded, the bloom was off the rose. The show did remain funny through Carell's exit, but the show was clearly past its prime at that point. IMO, Season 3 is the best of the best of that show. |

Yeah, I had the pleasure of watching that one in real time. Amazing season. 2006-07 was also the first season of 30 Rock. Good times! |
