http://www.kffl.com/gnews.php?id=875025-browns-jon-sandusky-arrested Cleveland Browns director of player personnel Jon Sandusky was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in North Dakota, according to the Forum of Fargo-Moorhead. The son of convicted former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky was believed to be on a scouting trip at North Dakota State. Given his profession, it's pretty clear what's meant by "scouting trip" .... given his last name, it's pretty funny to consider an alternative "scouting trip". (Unrelated ... if you haven't had Root Beer Barrel candy in a while, do yourself a favor and get a handful. Fuck my pancreas, but they're rather tasty.) Deeply dogmatic data devilishly detailing Dan was never wrong about Girardi not taking the Cubs job .... must've been our collective imaginary radios .... or at least part of the reason why they don't make transcripts of this show. Plus piecemeal preparatory pap preceding play of tonight's 3-2/0-5 heated match up as the Bears try to salvage the coveted 16th pick in the 2014 NFL draft ... if you think that sounds crazy, you might be Brandon Marshall. Or Brandon Marshall. I'm kinda like Brandon Marshall; I have a borderline personality. Surfeit surprises sanctimoniously saturated slavishly for your listening and entertaining pleasure, not to mention the 5:03pm staple "Who You Crappin'" with the best shotgun this side of Booker T (no, not the wrestler, you dope ... and I did just say that). Oh, and fuck St. Louis. They don't get any congratulatory consonance, just a hearty "fuck you" from most of the sporting nation. Anytime they get too cocky, ask 'em how the fucking 'Spirits of St. Louis' are doing in the NBA's Eastern Division. Some jerks will want you to listen to bullshit blathering on AM1000 .... other jerks will pretend there's radio coming out of Wisconsin (where do these sad-sack Luddites get these ideas anyway?) .... stick with a brand you know and trust to aggravate and yet entertain .... good luck finding something better on this "internet" fad you kids are dicking around with these days. Boers & Bernstein on The Score, 670 on your AM dial, #1 in your hearts, #2 in your shorts. And ............ scene. |

The chatroom has, recently anyway, been overpopulated by board asswipes ... and, on top of a game that was (as far as I was concerned, anyway) hopeless from the get-go, I decided a nap was a way more productive use of my time. I'm a predictably shitty person in a dreadful life, btw. Nothing new there. I trust you and yours are well. |

I don't know if I can stay with 5 hours of hearing "the Bears have to win this game". |

WGN should have him and JD on for an hour or two on the weekends in-season for expositional entertainment not constrained by actively commentating on a game. I really don't set out to write such difficult-to-read sentences ... just for the record. |

Skipping WYC? is also a convenient way for Dan to avoid getting crapped multiple times over Girardi. |

The fact is neither team is in a position to lose this game. The fact is this isn't going to carry a 5-hour show. Even with sound drops. I think. |

Or at the very least it didn't make me lunge for the radio to change the station, which is a welcome change. |

It's still mostly there; I've just got too much evidence against 'embracing' it for the time being. Stranger things have happened ... I guess ... I don't have a handy list of said stranger things. |
