Was pretty obvious Dan couldn't get to this guy for his stance on baseball's unwritten rules or field actions. So he goes down that road. You could hear the click in Dan's head and there he went. You must be racist.  The guy tried to call Terry in to his side but Terry sat there.

Basically, here is the script: 1) Question about a specific team or conference A decent answer 2) Question about anything national The SEC is the greatest and the 6th best team in the SEC is better than an all star team made up of the rest of college football. |

It's just as possible that the guy likes both football and baseball and doesn't want the two mixing. Let the record show that I hate showboating in baseball but love it in football. I got the impression that this caller was against all showboating. Dan went all Bernstein on him & once again ruined what could have been good dialogue with a caller who sounded fairly intelligent. Berns doesn't like callers who are smart though. |

Eh, that caller was kind of a dope. Bernstein kept giving him chances to elaborate further but the caller kept spouting the same rhetoric. |
