What stupid shit is he saying? Does he plan on retiring off his five Jordan rookie cards?

Lot of guys with the novel idea of not signing Cutler to a big contract.

My TuneIn cut out, but I heard him saying he had five Nolan Ryan rookies, then referenced Beckett.

Waiting for Godot has no place in that conversation.

if you enjoy lots of heavy sighs from Dan. He never really got yelly. Just one dumb caller after another.

The callers haven't been dumb enough to be entertaining. And the fact that they're just passed through just so they can get belittled by Mr. Little kind of takes the fun out of it. Notice when Hub is on they don't get "bad callers". I don't understand the point of spending the day after a Bears game to just pass through "bad callers" so Dan can make fun of them and Terry can let out heavy sighs. Why even take calls.

And Bowen is boring with all the x's and o talk that clearly needs video to make most average fans understand it.

First things first, congratulations to the State for allowing Gay marriage. Now the dirty work. B&B spent more time mocking gays than any other show in Chicago radio history, arguably. Then a couple years ago Dan's wife goes into the marriage planning biz and he becomes the biggest same sex marriage advocate I have ever heard. Coincidence???

I always feel like Dan is trolling when he announces this stuff in a big. dramatic. voice.

Sure. Why shouldn't Mrs. Bernstein be happy about it? Helps her business. Nothing wrong with that. Divorce lawyers are happy, too? Gays will have bad marriages as well.

I don't know about that. Remember that obituary for Don Wade? It was like "he played such varied characters as 'Peter Suckwell,' 'Private Parts,' 'Phil A. Show,' and 'Phineas Q. McSuckingDickAndButtSex.'"

Not true, as evidenced by Dan's proclamation last week that "We've gotten away from that," in regards to the Homer Simpson "gay" drop. This show has always been on the forefront of homosexual equality. #MonetizeGays

Wouldn't they want a gay wedding planner instead?

I agree that they have gotten away from it. I also think you can tie it chronologically to his wife getting in the wedding planning business. He started to care about gay rights when he saw the $$$

Before this gets out of control, I don't think there was ever anything malicious about their gay jokes, at least during the time that I listened, nor was they ever against gay rights. It was never like Dan said "you know what? It's about time I condemned gay people," it was just playing drops of people saying "gay," i.e., other people's intellectual property. The closest they ever got to being cruel was with Larry Craig, but even that's a grey area because the rules seem to state that it's fair game to be cruel to closeted homosexuals who deliver harm upon other homosexuals.

Hey, it's not li'l danny's fault these homos chose the word "gay" to be the politically correct term for them. That word used to mean happy and I know plenty of queers who are downright miserable.
