... yesterday's crackers  (and members of The Stale Crackers https://www.facebook.com/pages/TheStale ... 2535569067).

I guess it speaks to the lack of midday local sports talk that I continue to tune into Boers & Bernstein. There hasn't been a decent program since the three studs flipped on their mics from 2 - 6 on ESPN 1000.

The "Who Needs Two Tavern Tour" is played out, and the hosts are treating it as a 1/2 day of work. Bob from Niles calls in to burn 20 minutes; their buddy J. DeNardo fills another 20 minutes of no information college football talk; A. Brown, whom the giggling duo has ripped on in the past, sputters through his 10 minutes; A. Hoge is a Score employee that talks for five minutes without taking a breath, and giving no real opinion of the upcoming game or Bears season. Today, T. Boers sat out the entire 8 minute A. Hoge segment, only to come back with the last "thought", saying he thinks J. McCown has done a pretty good job.

It was T. Boers first thought since his breaking news that L. Smith was going to sign a contract extension last year. Boy was he wrong!

With that being said, I still enjoy listening to the show. I suppose I enjoy their jerk personalities more than anything.

Better put...this show sucks. BUT its better than a lot of other crap out there in the time slot.

Alex Brown isn't real good, and if he wasn't on their show, B&B would make fun of him to no end for all of his nonsensical/no substance talk, and "we" references...although he did play for the Bears, so technically he's accurate.

What really gets me is their treatment of Zach Zaidman...this guy is terrible yet they never call him out on ANYTHING. B&B pose themselves as anti-homers, and anti-bullshitters - yet ZZ is the epitome of everything they hate/pretend to hate and make fun of. Yet they haven't called him out on anything since the Greg Olsen trade rumor/non-rumor story a few years ago.

Then there is Boers...he has nothing to say other than to agree with whatever Bernstein says.

Shit show but good for a couple hours a day. Could/should be A LOT better.

Meh. Dan's heavy sighs speak volumes.

They sure played that up, only to distance themselves from it, a short time later.

The problem with B&B is too little B&B and too much boring guests. Love Jerry DiNardo though.

more don tiny jokes? just last night i came across the "DON TINY WAS HERE" sticker

Image

i reckon that he evidently places these in bathrooms to perpetually remind the toilet of the total unmitigated power and authority DT wields over you after you've accepted his shit. Once you do that you'll NEVER be the same; ergo DT's perpetual "that guy" status in Toilet legend and lore. They call him "the eternal supply" oh yes they do...

DinArdo while good at breaking it down and telling stories wont go into the "Bad coaches land" He wont even comment on any coaches issues, like coaches doing drugs, drinking, hanging out with coeds, etc. Guys who have illegal programs, convicts, etc he just passes over it with a "well thats too bad".....

Kinds skews every other thought knowing he his gig is trying to kiss everyones ass, stay in the college coach community and be a commentator. IN or OUT?

No shit. Talk about the textbook guy who won't badmouth his former profession. I guess its just part of the gig for Jerry.

He's not a member of the 4th estate and his paycheck is signed by people (BTN) who won't protect but more likely cut him loose. Talking bad stuff about people at best can hurt your reputation, at at worse you wind up in court ($$).

Agreed, but it's still not interesting enough to keep me listening everyday.

If Martellus Bennett was a caller who was saying all that weird shit, the shotgun would be out. Same thing with all of Drinky's stupid shit. Hey Dan? Dan? Dan?

Bernsie won't fire on another member of the tribe.

How can they call him out after Terry's claim that a Lovie extension was eminent, and Dan's diatribe about Girardi being plan A, and there was no Plan B.

There was a time, when he was my favorite Score host. Sadly, those days are in the rear view mirror.

Absolutely. The show lazily falls back on old, tired topics (Lance, Penn St, CTE, Bob in Niles, Dan mocking everybody, etc.), that cause me to lose interest.
