Settle down, Beavisdown. Drinky kicks his own twice a day. So taking it on the chin from Cutler is a step up.

Hack reporting by Drinky, but it did get his Tweet put front and center on Yahoo's sports page about Cutler. Some radio executive may not research the genesis of this "reporting" and just go off of the article, and figure Drink is a heck of a reporter with good sources.

Maybe Drinky ain't too dumb after all :shock:

Cutler did come off as a douchebag. I hate the "who is this guy? I've never heard of him" retort. So unoriginal and dishonest. Abbattacola may not be an extremely well known figure within the Chicago media but I am willing to bet Jay knows exactly who he is and what show he is a part of.

He took what Cutler said last week, made a leap and lied about a source. Why? To make a name for himself. That's what he did. On the chance it hits and he looks great. Like I said, he learned from B&B. He's trying to make it in Chicago media. He's sick of answering Bernstein's calls. But he's just such a god damn idiot. Where Bernstein is clever about his lies, drinky is too dumb to get away with this type of shit. Got exposed on this one. Goff tried the same thing with the Lebron bullshit that he reported. These guys are frauds and sleazy with no business being in media. God, Mitch needs to stop his producers from having a voice. Just have them answer the phones Mitch. One day they might say some shit that gets your station sued.

Kap just tried bringing up the "Cutler out for season" topic on CTL and it got shot down quickly by someone saying "Cutler ripped that false report" (something along those lines) and they moved on. I wonder how Schuster feels about that.

Besides Abbattacola who is the vitriol directed at? I believe Terry and Dan have both defended him several times in the past and expressed that he is the best QB in team history. Is this aimed at Spiegel? Holmes? McNeil?
