I have said this before during Ditkath hating threads but Mike would have been a Hall of Famer whether or not he played a down of football. The guy is a flawed hero but a hero nonetheless |

Biggest hypocrite around. He hated the media and treated them like dirt. Now he's on their side as long the dough keeps coming in. I would say that I don't think Ditka thinks he's a hero. I'll give him that. |

I believe the Hall should first have a bust of Ditka as a player with a flat top and then put a second bust of curly and orange haired Ditka as The Coach. These should be placed at the front of the hall with a welcoming by Coach. |

Offenses on average do better in snow, 4 of the 5 games played in the snow yesterday went over. Taking the Cowboys offense against the Bears defense tonight and the over. |

I think they've tired of the '85 Bears love & believe Ditka became a bit of a caricature toward the end but I don't expect to hear any real hatred spewed.

I think he's mellowed a bit over the years, being away from the playing field or locker. Don't get me wrong, I love that he coached the Bears and is still in the media, but I would not have liked to deal with him if I were in the media back then. |

Has Zaidman been on yet to give his scholarly opinion that the Bears need a "big game" from special teams tonight? He has every other pre-game. I heard Bernstein earlier say the Bears will have "outscore Dallas"...and then he caught himself and added, "because they can't stop them." Terry agreed with that, by the way |
