Meatpants will talk about how great some guys are at his new tank game, Terry will blindly agree even though he has no idea what he's talking about. Once meatpants and Leary roll out of the studio, Dan and Terry will talk about Briggs. A. Lot. Then continue to talk about the NFL's flex scheduling and how it impacts games. 9-15 and only a 1/2 game out of the playoffs.... can you imagine if they won 31 games and made the playoffs? (that is a 9-15 pace played out over a full season) why even bother talking about the bulls, its a painful watch doesnt every Bulls fan want them to tank this year? what actual bulls fan wants them to win anymore games this year? It's almost angering watching thibs yelling and screaming so much... cant he just accept this is a lost year and by being bad this year your could end up being great in a year or two? |

The artcile had that line about it being nobody's fault. I know both sides have said some dumb stuff publicly, but the situation is not anyone's fault. Rose got hurt. He healed. He got hurt again. The Bulls can't win without him, and they can't hold this team together to wait for him due to the cap. It sucks. |

Oh, Lord. Is this TFM in the comments section? Drunken Midgets Actually, saying he's "just a guy who keeps getting hurt" is a decent lack of understanding of everything going on with Rose, his camp, the Bulls, and Thibodeau. It is a colossal train wreck. No one can speak directly to anyone else in all of this. The Bulls absolutely hated how Rose (and his camp) handled his injury last year, they actually leaked to the media that he was ready to play just to get the point through to him. And this year, they've tried to nip it right off the bat, saying he's not coming back this year. But Rose (and his camp) just keep on talking...and never actually to the team. Whether it's his brother, or the Adidas money, or the new contract...Derrick Rose has become the exact thing Bernstein said. And the biggest problem is he's probably not bright enough to understand it. |

I think they're just making the point that it's no one's fault that he is hurt. The Bulls have no choice but to let several pieces go away. It is just bad circumstances for both sides. |

Which is to say why the hell would Deadspin, as a website, take the time to do some in-depth research on Derrick Rose and all the ancillary characters in this grand play. Just for example, you're just not going to read about why BJ Armstrong is a piece of shit and, by extension of his being an enemy of John Paxson, he's an enemy of the Bulls organization and thus, in turn, an enemy of any Bulls fan who wants to see a championship team. BJ doesn't give a damn about anyone but Rose only insofar as it serves his own desires ... do not for one moment even pretend to think what BJ does is anything but that which gives him a feeling of vindictive retributional joy. The whole fucking thing stinks, and the losers are idiots like you and me that expect these people to be professional men rather than petulant asswipes, which I suppose makes us "In-Town Stupid" ... but that's at least somewhat understandable as well as forgivable ... as opposed to the folks at Deadspin who are just attention whoring off a class-A attention whore on the radio. |
