Why, you ask? Because he was the last guy he was a fan of before he became a big shot with media credentials. RIP, fandom.

The guys will rip the Suns roster apart, and blather on and on about how every W for the Bulls is really a L.

Oh yah, there is a B&B soundboard coming today as well. Put on yer party hats, yo.

YES. IT IS SO EXCITING!!!!

And I was wrong, appears it will be posted TOMORROW at 2pm.

These guys are absolutely the worst when it comes to teasing "big news" - I really can't think of one reveal that was anywhere near satisfying or anywhere near the level of hype they were trying to give it in the buildup.

I can't wait to hear Dan read a fake email from Rudy about how great it is, then to hear him read some tweets from Schmutzie and Pat about how they were playing with the soundboard in a restaurant and LITERALLY all of the patrons got up and circled around them and they all laughed so loud that it set a new noise record.

I want to be the first to congratulate Frank Maddux.

So I wasn't hearing things! Keary Sayers did say that.

She even had a pregnant pause to think about it and still got it wrong. "Again, we have BREAKING NEWS. Frank Maddux, Tom Glavine, and Frank Thomas have been elected to the Hall of Fame."

Spiegel: You still disagree, right Terry?

Terry: What? No! About what?

She is so bad. Whatever update she did just before 10 was horrible.

Because he... um... The thing is.... Truthfully...

I dont know. Because for some reason Frank is cleared of all guilt. The only one that should be cleared IMO is Griffey because that guy broke down for sure.

Frank's trying to force the MLB into league wide drug testing was unprecedented.

WHY DOES BERNSTEIN THINK WE CARE ABOUT HIS STUPID "Y'KNOW, I REALIZED THAT THIS IS IMPORTANT TO ME BECAUSE FRANK WAS THE LAST PLAYER I WAS A FAN OF BEFORE I BECAME A PROFESSIONAL" narrative? Seriously, why is he so satisfied with this realization? Why does he think we care about how it impacts him?

Also, Kerry Sayers is incredibly awful at her job - I'm glad I very rarely have to hear her.

I can't wait for the first meatball to call in and state that Maddux should wear a Cubs hat.

If you don't understand why Frank deserves a different level of suspicion than just about anyone else from his era you simply don't want to understand why that is.

Yes, there is a chance he was on something. It's almost always impossible to prove a negative but you can be pretty confident in Frank and Griffey.

Brick, I get it but he just gets an automatic pass like it isnt even possible. Everyone else is under review except him.

I have loved the Astros since 1985. What this qualifies me to say, among other things is Bagwell, while a favorite of mine, WAS NOT always big. Far from it. Far Far from it.

I honestly think it is only two simple things. He was the size of an Auburn TE when he came to baseball and never changed. The second is that he and his entire cast of teammates purposely skipped a drug test or something to TRY to force MLB into roid testing.

His out spoken history and activity put him far past suspicion for me.

There are 5-6 "warning signs."
Abnormal body changes
Abnormal performance changes
Peaking at a very late age
Evidence that came out through investigations
witness accounts
others?

In fairness, he was one of the only MLB players to call for testing in the 90's....and never to be reasonably linked to PED usage, nor have any substantial changes in body type(especially after his retirement)

Few wanted to chime in the subject, except to tout Andro or Flintstone's chewables

I don't think that is true. He probably gets the same treatment as Greg Maddux gets.

It's almost always impossible to prove a negative but there are a few players that have valid reasons to believe that the negative is true. Frank and Griffey have those reasons more than others.
