Dan just answered a question relating to whether Theo was misled by Theo on the financials when he came in.

He said an emphatic no.

So Theo understood what he was getting into. Tom Ricketts according to Dan "did not misrepresent himself".

Adams is right to criticize personnel moves. Their primary goal has been surrounding Rose with athletically challenged wing players (Hamilton, Dunleavy, Bellinelli) to take pressure off Rose despite the fact that they can't because they are, surprise, athletically challenged. It all falls back on Rose as a result. In fact the one player who could probably take pressure off Rose was Robinson, and he was brought on as an after thought to replace Rose instead of supplement him. That, plus letting Asik walk for free and drafting Dengs carbon copy in Snell (athletically challenged wing) has guaranteed the Bulls will average no more than 91 points with or without Rose. The failure to procure dynamic players outside of Rose has made the Bulls one of the more undesirable rosters in the league following rose's injury.

The crap of the Dallas Safari club was absolutely terrible. Both the crapper and Dan are incredibly stupid to not have understood the benefit of the auction.

btw, per usual the best part of today's show was coming out of a late 2-o'clock-hour break into a bumper with the instrumental for milkbone's "keep it real" which the HHSOTD thread vets of the board will more likely recognize as the beat used when big L and jay Z did that one epic 7-10 min freestyle on the radio which would forever be immortalized on big L's "harlem's finest: a freestyle history" LP.

if you peep out that bigL/jayZ freestyle hang out for their second verses.... L's second verse is some tremendous shit even tho that wasn't anything close to an improv/off-the-dome freestyle as much as it was his hot 16/32/etc. still tho, it gave us the line that would eventually be jay-z's only big-L reference: "fuck love / all i got for hoes is hard dick and bubble gum"

also, "you were never shit.... your momma shoulda swallowed you!" is just about as good as "i'm so ahead of my time my parents haven't met yet" = rip big L

I think he was doing his "What If" segment. The segment allows the caller to specify which players he/she would want to add to each Chicago sports team if that caller was given the power to be the GM with no restrictions.

Seems pretty goddamned obvious what the correct choice is. Problem is the liberal disconnect with the rest of the world is just as dreadfully myopic as the conservative one; the different is at least conservatives are upfront about their disdain of the less fortunate. Maybe if they had a charity poker game for the chance to send cancer kids to go get gored by the rhinos it'd play better with Daniel and his ilk.
