Today’s show features a new Friday Fung segment called “Customer Disservice” where people will call in with stories of bad customer service. Dan said the names of the businesses will need to be redacted, but since most of the listeners don’t know what the word redacted means, this promises to be a giant clusterfuck.

There will also be some Bulls talk, odd fahhhhhhting noises from Terry, and talk of Tanaka’s wife, although not in a creepy way.

Listen to the show. Otherwise, kids with cancer will not be able to attend summer camp.

That's a pretty good rule of thumb by the way.

This is going to be a mess - and man do I hope that somebody calls in with a written story -- with the names of products/items/actual establishment name replaced with "name redacted".

I do think this topic has the potential to be a nice addition to the Friday Fung rotation, but like everyone else, I'm expecting it to be fun bad at best today.

How bad would a story have to be to offend a sponsor that is willing to follow a commercial about how the strippers at this place will basically have sex with you?

....but he and ed farmer join together every year to wish everyone a very happy seder. why, if anyone on this board were to ever go and directly question bernstein on that religious duality they'd forever be hailed as the #1 premier CSFMB rockstar....

So I bought a ticket to a Bulls game, and they tried hard and won the game. Now, the team is more likely to make the playoffs.

I went to this hockey game in Rosemont and they fought in the 1st period. I was absolutely disgusted. When I went to customer service to ask for a refund they refused. WTF!?

I hope someone calls with a story about how an event planner they hired -- whose husband, incidentally, is a local sports-talk radio host -- botched the whole thing and their wedding turned out to be a disaster.

Look, I like making fun of downstate goobers as much as anyone, but this is stupid. Like it's so hard to do a stupid offseason appearance alllllllll the way in...Peoria. But hey, always good to hear The Home Of The White Sox telling Cubs fans there to be Cardinals fans instead.

No one disputes the Cubs' right to do community work in Chicago, and their charitable work is laudable. But it's short-sighted decisions like this that make people wonder whether the Rickettses have any public relations sense whatsoever.

They don't.

back in december of 2001 i headed down to galesburg IL for a weekend-long backpacker/whitehop festival. when i arrived at hotel i was road-weary from having spent a good hour+ driving on the sheet of ice formally known as i-80, so when i saw a restaurant/bar in the hotel lobby i was ready for "one hell of a caucasian(, jackie.") so i entered the room and the first thing that struck me was how so many of the locals there in/around the bar seemed to be missing teeth.... plus they had that look that screamed out "smoker!" to me (tho in fairness it could be meth too, but that had yet to reach an en masse colloquial "hillbilly heroin" status by that point)

so i made smalltalk with some of the locals in the bar, at least the ones that weren't missing teeth, and i asked about the phenomenon of the missing teeth with my usual tact and style, in other words bluntly asking this solid dude "where do all these smokers get their rock from? they driving up to chicago?" to which i received a chuckle and was told "no, it pretty much all comes from peoria"

so then later on i decided to do a map search of peoria IL and the default location it took me to was jackson blvd, which was right around streets like washington, adams, madison, monroe, etc..... so once i saw all of the presidential streets i was like "hey, there's more to peoria than cheap liquor stores and dive bars!" --- c'est la vie!

Why are they making fun of the Twins and Cardinals for successfully nurturing regional fanbases? Do they want the Cubs to be the White Sox?

oh no these downstate people are being called out by texters/e-mailers for not wanting to MONETIZE. EVERYTHING. for the schools via taxation.... so now they're willfully ignorant because clearly denying the urge to MONETIZE. EVERYTHING. = basking in stupidity akin to a pig in shit.

is there any way that i can go to the state department of education and lay a $20 on the desk with a note saying "sorry, this is to make up for kankakee" --- st peter needs to know that i tried.
