The response from fearful, stupid White America now has me wanting to buy a Richard Sherman jersey. My god.

Manning is so good that he's boring.

Richard Sherman is the angry black man that White America is scared of (did you know he has a degree from Stanford - the Duke of the west cost!).

Playing the Super Bowl in New Jersey is just plain dumb.

Sure to be plenty of other trolling.

Will our heroes be in today, or will they be worshiping big black studs in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. day? Tune in to find out.

so wait, dan isn't white or at least part of white america? is it because he's an honorary "big black stud" thanks to all of the verbal "wang whippings" he's given out all over the years? or is it because jewish people are given the right to claim transcendental-non-white status thanks to the ~2500 years of persecution they've suffered at the hands of "the haters" ???

it's one thing when chris rock does a routine called "black people versus [n-word]s" cuz he's doing stand up comedy, but we're supposed to take FOTStein seriously..... right?

If I have to hear one more time that the Super Bowl is supposed to be a "reward" for the media I'm going to hope the whole media goes out of business and is replaced by high school kids writing for bleacher report. Yeah, you get to watch, talk and write about sports and you get paid much more than the average American for doing it. Sorry that you have to spend a week in New York City instead of Miami or New Orleans. It must be so hard for you.

actually, you're supposed to feel sorry for the veritable 4th ring of hell that the guys wade through every day when the slovenly masses of listeners/callers/texters are able to transmit their unfiltered/unmoderated ignorant (no matter how much they watch/know) thoughts to them, as matt abbatacola pointed out during his 2min+ diatribe against my legendarily bad tweet that had the sheer audacity to suggest that matt abbatacola advocated the return of mel tucker simply because i heard him say that "mel tucker shouldn't be fired" a few times.

seriously, listen to the show for every minute it's on, and then and only then your instructions are to go out there and agree 100% with everything they say, otherwise you're an ignorant idiot who is a plague on civilized society via your continued pompous display of non-moderated thoughts. "there ought to be limits on freedom" - george w bush, cosigned by matt abbatacola.

I sampled quite a bit of NFL postgame yesterday. Noted white establishment icons like Marshall Faulk, Deon Sanders and Tom Jackson were all very quick to jump on Sherman.

Personally, I found it kind of funny. As I wrote in another thread he said everything with the wry smile of a wrestling heel. He knows what he is doing. Now, he may get his knees taken out when he plays the 49ers twice a year for the rest of his career, but for now he knows what he is doing.

I don't think white America is fearful of Sherman, Dan.

However, I've always said that black America should be fearful of Dan Bernstein and his kind.

I laugh when I hear the reporters complain about Jacksonville.

Well, you silly little ink stained wretches, Jacksonville is a perfectly fine vacation destination when you are looking at it from Amelia Island or Ponte Vedra.

I thought it was funny, too.

Erin Andrews was the one that embarrassed white America because she was scared and abruptly ended the interview. But if Erin Andrews represents white America, we're all in trouble.

Her reaction was a little weird but he was pretty amped up.

Dumb comment. Sherman had a chance to celebrate his great play by thanking the fans, teammates, coaches, or just say he was happy to be in position to win. Instead he took a shot at his opponent and looked angry and low class. It has nothing to do with his race.

An early display of football ignorance has me PTFB @ 1:48 p.m.:

1. Reading a lot about the Seahawks defense and realizing they're great without a pass rush.
2. Not knowing how the Patriots were 12-4 with the team they have (I guess they didn't watch last week).
3. The obligatory agreeing email to be read as though it is fact.

The less these guys actually talk about sports, the better.

I was thinking a new segment called Monday Hmong, but that might be kind of depressing.

How did Andrews do anything wrong? I assumed the interview ended because Sherman left - though I don't think they were on camera anymore at that point. She had a follow up question she couldn't complete because, again I assume, Sherman left. This people being scared thing is stupid. Who was scared?

They might have ended it out of fear of what he was going to say on air.

Exactly. She was taken off guard because she expected a normal answer but instead, he started yelling. After that, I assume everything happened pretty as veganfan described.

That's plausible. I also think that's why they cut away during the interview...perhaps preparing to cut audio as well.
