Dan's pretend law degree will likely be on full display today as he talks about the latest developments between the Cubs and the rooftop owners and the revelations found in their leaked contract. Will he credit David Kaplan for breaking this story as other outlets have been doing? There is also the story about Northwestern football players seeking to join a labor union. He's probably been on the phone all day with really smart people getting important information about big things. As a "real life" lawyer, I love shows when Danny pretends to be one. He gets some legal phrase from his dad and runs with without fully understanding what it means - kind of like when he talks sabermetrics. Funny stuff. |

I think if you send him an email with a few big words and some legal lingo, he will assume you're a lawyer and read it on the air every time. This could potentially make for some hilarious radio if someone could infiltrate Dan's Beautiful Mind. DB: "Here's a great email from a listener named Carl Rubenstein that does a nice job of summarizing this contract"...... Teary: "Uhhh...well, look, My guy said something similar to this, and well, thank you for the email my friend"

my grandma only deals in pdf's too. she spends all day scanning articles from the drudge report and reprinting them. then she files them away or sends them out for christmas. its really weird. |
