Really, Dan?

I went to school for a while and nobody talks like that. Way to relate.

I don't even know.

I know what the words mean but have no idea what he's trying to say with it.

How did he use it? I've heard of locus of control and self efficacy but never combined. Looks like he is no longer playing Dr of the physical being but now psychological. That's great.

Another thing - I heard Hoge & McKnight talking about some article and they continually referred to ESPN The Magazine as "S-pen the Magazine". Who are you kidding? How insecure are you guys?

I had another sex dream last night but my husband was in it. Do you guys think Dr Dan can do some dream analysis?

Who was the board member in the 1st dream? We may or may not have several hundred dollars riding on something like that.

How can you, the man behind Dim O'Braincell, not sit back and enjoy these dillettantes whizzing off into esoterica?

Without the proper context, I will guess that it's his version of one's "will to win".

I won't tell. Anybody that wants to believe it was them can that way. Makes it more fun.

That's cruel to let someone think that kind of depravity is going on. Please confirm it wasn't spanky.

He's just a regular guy. He has a taco joint he goes to, they know him there. Guessing his place is famous Taco Burrito king at western and addison. Went there once, Got sick 5 minutes later and it was hamburger meat!

How quickly do you guys think Hoge and McKnight would leave if they were offered jobs at ESPN (in Bristol, not AM1000)?

They would be on the next plane to Hartford.

Is the one at Western and Addison still a TBK? I think they dropped the King designation a few years ago. Same for the one over by California and Irving Park. It's now Famous Taco Burrito, used to be TBK. It's close to mcfetridge, could also be Bernstein's spot. The guys at the California location are relatively chatty for a Mexican take-out joint.

Famous Taco Burrito over by IP and Cali is fine if you stick to chorizo or bbq pork or tongue. The chicken was inedible. Steak was alright. Chavez Tacos at Grand and Western--excellent steak tacos.

You're another guy I thought would enjoy Dan's unchecked descent into nonsensical phraseology. Dan ruining the Score makes the Score more interesting.

It is indeed a thing, but he could be misapplying it ... though I don't know as I still don't know the context in which he said it.
