Time to really start loading up the list on Mr Duke.

I have called him out on his bullshit "sources" in the cubs /rooftop situation as just being the cubs director of communications, or his other source in the same source as I have for Cubs on field info, who has even said to me "You know more about this shit than I do"

or

did anyone catch his "Pope guy". claiming he had a connection to the pope...lol...but it was a Rabbi who was moving or something?

and don't forget his now out of touch NASA guy.

To stay the smartest person in the room at all times:
  1. Don't let in (or on the air) any experts, they may not promote the current narrative.
  2. Kick out (or keep off the air) any informed opinions, they may undermine the narrative.
  3. Bend Twitter to support the narrative, dismiss anything contradictory.
  4. Mention that his sources are so inside and so informed that they are better than anybody's but cannot be revealed, ever.
  5. Have a few emails from the ranking ALS, they know their role.
  6. If the co-host can't be a proper parrot he can keep his ass home.
  7. Make sure the sound engineers know to drop the caller's volume to induce shouting, he who shouts loudest wins.

I'm trying to think of someone on WSCR, AM1000, or WGN who lies as much as they do (Dan about insider info. and Terry about, well, seeing or knowing anything) and can't think of anyone.

I do think that Dave Savini lied about the semen he found by using his black light in hotel rooms. It was all his.

You don't have to have listened long or very often, and it took less than 2 minutes of transition to be reminded of another aspect of his bullshit, chickenshit approach. He's glad that Russia lost? Wrote a column? Why not step out and declare your stance before the game is played? I'd have far more respect for his exuberant glee if he were to say up front "I want this because of that." Considering the number of gay athletes competing he should be watching reguarly and enthusiastically, given his attittude and reaction after the fact.

I'll put forth a one Laurence Wilberforce Holmes IV. He may not flat out lie or make up shit (besides his breaking Bears stories). But he takes mundane situations and spins seven layers of bullshit around them to make himself look like a hardass or a guy who gets tons of pussy or a tenured college professor or a street smart Chicagoan.

Got a chuckle out of Dan's patronizing moment of the day, when the Korn Ferry consultant told Dan he couldn't answer his question regarding the Bill O'Brien hiring because NDAs had been signed. Dan had to interrupt and explain to the listeners what the letters NDA stood for.
