how so? i'm just turning it on now and uhhhh..... yeah, they're talking lebron and they're talking NBA championship. are they going out of their way to troll everyone that what was once crazy to say ("i'd rather have john wall than derrick rose") is probably a very prudent/correct thing to say?

 Berns reads and article that explains why the Bulls can only offer $45MM LESS to Carmelo than the Knicks, plus would have to trade away their draft picks, not have enough money for mirotic, amnesty Boozer, and only sign mimimum players.

Somebody texts in and says Berns is a SCUMBAG who HATES everything Chicago!

ok.... so i turn on the show and after a few minutes of "we don't want melo" it turns into "let's laugh at this caller from mully and hanley because he's ostentatiously black!" (which, yeah, they obviously didn't agree with his viewpoints but most of the laughing was laughing at the fact he was "acting very black", cuz don't forget this is the show that quietly retired the "I'M AS BLACK AS THE ACE OF SPADES!" drop) and then they finish the trifecta by warning me that they've got a bob in niles movie review coming up, so as always i either turn off the radio or just switch the channel.

batting 1.000 today..... just like hatchetman has been saying!

oh and for the record, i don't mind the concept of having a chuckle at someone on the line being ostentatiously black (as the ace of spades!) or whatever, that's all fine and good cuz that's just as cool as laughing at white people dancing or something.... it's harmless and all in good fun. it's just with this show's social justice / moral crusading calling us racist/bigots/etc i find it a bit disingenuous that out of one side of his mouth dan can be the voice of reason and morality regarding what we should think, yet out of the other side of his mouth it's totally ok to laugh at somebody cuz LOL HE'S BEING SO BLACK ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!! --- pick a lane, beerstain!

And that is the problem with Dan's VERY. IMPORTANT. RADIO. You can't have it both ways. Is this the TB Diddlers show or the show with a social agenda. I liked TB Diddlers much more. I came for the wings but I stayed for country diddlin.

This has been a pretty good Bob In Niles call in. He sounds coherent and he's reviewing Rocky IV and then a Jesus movie.

also, i'm totally with you on the TB Diddler's side of things.... but then again "with great power comes great responsibility" and now that B&B is no longer "the oasis" from the oldschool "meatball" aka "voice of the fan/s" score and it's the flagship for the station, yeah, they can't be goofy..... not when there's people out there who aren't doing everything they can do to stop child rape! or bigotry! or not laughing at any religion other than the right one (or muslims, cuz nobody wants to fuck with them =)

I appreciated the sound of Dannys exhaustion from last nights LATE event. To get to the studio by 1 PM must have been EXHAUSTING

Remember when they'd play the Sanford & Son theme song behind crotchety old black callers? I loved that.

just imagine if dan BECAME world series of poker legend chris moneymaker... not only would the event have happened at schuba's for $15, but..... wow, i dont really have any good tributasaurus jokes to put here. i think that in and of itself says something.

oooh yeah good call CH.... that was actually pretty fun, and like i said b4 i'm not against these types of jokes.... i'm just against the two-faced stance where now the show is formally so important and "above" the hate and the bigotry, yet at the same time while we're getting yelled at for being racist/sexist/whatever-ist bigots, he reserves the right to joke about whatever he wants whenever he wants..... and of course b&b will never be above a WANGWHIPPING by a BIG. BLACK. STUD. [insert dime-a-dozen bernsteinian cuckold fantasies here].... and of course we'll never get back to having our little fun show back where these kind of genuinely amusing/enjoyable things happened all the time..... cuz now our guy dan is VERY. IMPORTANT. RADIO. aka FOTStein.

anyways, i'm going to resume my nightly activities of performing the satanic ritual to keep the world from changing. you know, kind of like that one episode of angel where the nerd kid found out his girlfriend was gonna break up with him and decided to invent a machine to create a quantum singularity bubble that would cause everything inside of it to be stuck in time, but then those evil nefarious demon dudes showed up and cranked up the power to overdrive because they wanted to freeze the whole world in a moment because..... well they never really explained that but hey they're evil and *RAWWWRRRRRRR*[mutant enemy logo noise] so they just do that sort of thing just because..... you know like dan and SABRmetrics.

they have no problem chuckling any time an old black caller goes off saying stupid things.... but an old white guy calls in with a crazy point they get called an idiot by angry bernstein (or if they are mentally handicap they get a weekly segment).
