Everyone is blamelesss. Garpax knew this team couldn't win and thibs had no one to put in the game. Even though the Bulls had late leads in both games, the "wizards are just better" blanket explanation is just how it is.

Part of the White Sox Attendance rant was that Chicago baseball fans shouldn't care so much about architecture, and therefore go to more White Sox games. But now Wrigley Field is "iconic"? OH MY GOD WHY DO YOU EVEN CARE.

Trib had a cartoon this morning making fun of Sox fans complaining about a week of Wrigley Field celebration in the newspaper. First day this Wrigley celebration ran I was like....what....the....fuck....is this shit?? The coverage of every murder over the past year didn't amount to as many column inches.

Regarding Terry's comment about Yankee stadium, I would be more inclined to support a new Wrigley if it were in the same spot. The problem with most new Wrigley proposals is they talk about the Cubs playing in a suburb. One of the charms of Wrigley is the neighborhood, from all the bars and roof top fans. Moving it to Arlington Heights would take away a big piece of its attraction.
