and CBS radio local was immediately negotiating with the Cubs in earnest...which means that they had a plan together months earlier...does anybody remember the time B and B started to openly grandstand for the Cubs plan |

A lot of folks have called for the Cubs to blow it up and start over. As much as I hate Rozner, he has been writing articles for 10 years to do exactly what the Cubs are doing now. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the Cubs had poor drafting and player development extending back a long time. Whether B&B jumped on board because they knew CBS was in the running, well who really cares? I take anything they say with a grain of salt. The show flat out sucks. |

Not to mention(but I totally will) the fact that the Cubs have 4 or 5 rrreeeeeaaaallllllyy good prospects in the minors just waiting to be called up when the team is ready to contend in twenty-fourte... twenty-fifte... twenty sixteen so just you wait. And by the way, all those Cub fans who want to see a team win games are idiots because Theo and Jed told them the cubs would lose.lots.of.games. What don't you people get? Don't you want your team to win a world series?! It's a 3(nope) 4(not yet) 5(yes![maybe]) year plan! 5 year plans always work. DO YOU EVEN READ STALIN?!?! |

We all know Berns is a Cubs fan, who thinks claiming he is a Sox fan makes him different from most of the people he knows. he practically thinks he is part of the organization at the weekly mensa meetings they have. |

Dan has an inside source, someone very close to the front office. You wouldn't know him, he goes to another school a couple towns over. But trust me he's super hot. They met at summer camp. |

I would have to know Joe Sheehan's opinion on the Cubs plan before I can comment. |

Whether B&B jumped on board because they knew CBS was in the running, well who really cares? I take anything they say with a grain of salt. The show flat out sucks. I guess I should have been more specific. I don't mean The(o) Plan. Everyone knew from the moment he was hired that his plan would work. I am talking about openly rooting for the business side Plan. I think I remember the tides turning in their perception of this when Julian Green was hired. That seemed to be when Very Smart People (but not VERY SMART PEOPLE if you understand the subtlety) on the business side were couple with those that existed on the baseball side. I thought this was around the Fall of 2013 after Emmanuel told them no public money during the summer of 2013. Am I a year off with my timeline. If not, I think I am on to something. I wish Beardown were still around. |

I'm way off on my timeline. Green was hired in the fall of 2011. I cannot believe this rehab project has been going on for this long. |

I don't think he's taken one step off the bandwagon. I assume Boers agrees with everything Bernstein says. |

Regarding de Castro and his employee's less-than-kind parting comments, Cubs spokesperson Julian Green said to the Chicago Sun-Times: "It's obvious we’re not immune to unfortunate comments and below-the-belt punches as of late, but WGN opted out, period". |
