Theo is already 3 BJs in before he ever even heads to the ballpark. 4 is a slow day for him...

Between 4 and 5? I hate getting the 1/2 BJ. The 3/4 is worse.

If this is the road being taken I fear the unavoidable "tossing of the salad" by Dan in years to come.

Jay Cutler made a "face turn" according to Leary, then screams why.

Now Dan is going to explain his column to us.

you know, as a 13+yr listener to the show, no matter what you can say about the guy and his, uhh, you know, in point of fact, rambings.... there's still a certain drop that hits you in the pit of your stomach when you tune in and hear that terry's not there.

so today, on news that Baez was being brought up, Dan says "perhaps we're closer to 'eating' than we thought."

Well Dan, since you predicted (and it's in my thread) that the Cubs would be playoff contenders by 2016, we sure should be.

When Dan was asked by Kris Bryant wasn't being called up about 2 weeks ago, he doesn't question the decision at all, sort of laughed at the caller before falling in line with the thought that it's stupid to bring him up right now.

Something tells me that this will be the latest in decisions that we're not allowed to question or wonder about because the Cubs have been very clear on the plan.

i don't think it's bad especially seeing as laurence is better with dan then when he has his own shows or goes with speagol. the -eery enunciation thing doesn't register with me like it does with other people on the board, so just as long as we avoid timeless segments like "chicks on the new network TV shows who could get it" we'll be alright, but it just goes to show that terry's the more endearing host in terms of setting up the environment for a comfortable listen.

i think that's where a lot of our disappointment with him has been throughout his decline... he just lets dan roll right over him with all of the SJW stuff and screaming and yelling and preaching cuz he learned that the path of least resistance is the way to go with a demagogue.

Terry always has been the best part of the show. Bad when he is gone.

I can do without Bernstein's social justice radio, but I'm also happy to be without Boers' being unable to put a thought together.

to be fair, Baez is on the 40 and Bryant is not, no?

Dan and Terry are always better together than apart. The only guy I liked paired with Dan is Rozner, and I always seemed to enjoy when Terry and Goff were paired together.

Oh brother.

They were ginning up a bunch of lies and puffed up crap on the station after the "HUGE MELEE OF DEATH!!!!!!!!" happened. From the sounds of it I thought one player took out a knife and cut the other players head off and then jumped off the Sears Tower. I thought they would get HUGE VOICE GUY on to scream "HELLO BEARS FANS, A HUGE DEADLY MELEE HAS TAKEN PLACE AT BEARS CAMP, MANY PRESUMED DEAD, WE HAVE ALL LATEST DETAILS ON THE HOME OF THE BEARS....670 THE SCORE!!! STAY TUNED!!!"

BAD.

I never noticed this until Mac pointed out how unprofessional is it, when Leery (he's public enemy number one, at least) refers to athletes by their first name.
