- some obscure work that where he, personally, really learned something about Williams

I'll spend more time thinking of this list than listening, unless you guys tell me otherwise.

I think bernstein will show sincere sadness that Williams died. He was a Really. Smart. Comedian.

Everyone in my FB feed were acting as if they lost a parent. Seriously. I don't get it.

I walk into the gym this morning, and the front desk guy and I exchanged our usual pleasantries. Asked him how he was doing, and he replied "I'm actually really, really sad." I jokingly asked if it was due to Robin Williams dying. He confirmed. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Yeah, its weird how social media deems certain celebrity deaths as HUGE deals compared to others

I think there is always a soft spot for people that make you laugh. But I was pretty surprised at the reaction.

I can't ever recall the "talk to someone/seek help" drum being beaten so loudly on FB/Twitter, but I can't think of a more prominent, beloved figure dying via suicide in the last decade either. In a weird way, i think that while a celebrity OD might give an addict pause, a celebrity suicide, and all the ensuing outpouring of love and grief, could in some way embolden someone prone to suicidal thoughts.

We will hear the phrase "comedic sensibilities." Well, you will; I'll be on the road, but I expect a full report!

Dan has never taken that tack with depression. He yelled at Jason for it once. (Brothers don't kill themselves; they have enough other people trying to gun them down as it is.)

The only time dan finds depression to be amusing is when it allows him to get off a "Daaamaaanaaaa".

Dan will discuss the risk of brain injury in slapstick comedy, suggest that Robin Williams brain should be studied, then assert that knowing the risks he will never allow his son to participate in such activities. It's not about the concussions caused by pies to the face, it's the sub-concussive trauma suffered during laughter.

Mully told this long-winded, scattered story about Robin Williams this morning and about three minutes into it I kinda dozed off and forgot what the hell he was even talking about...

Substitute Robin Williams with anything and you've summed up the morning show.

That was actually a question to Brad Biggs about Jordan Palmer that just went off tracks

Jordan, one more question before I let you go, on your way out here, though hopefully not on your way out of Chicago, I mean, we really want you here--

"Yeah, a Palmer has to be good at having something in his hand!"

--SHUTTHEFUCKUPBRIANWHYCAN'TYOUFUCKINGRESPECTME. Anyway, Jordan, I just gotta ask, when you take everything into account from this camp, and I mean, camp, when it came to camp, no one did camp like Robin Williams in the Birdcage, and oh brother, what a news story to wake up to this morning, my oh my, it just knocked you down, which is hopefully something that doesn't happen to you in the pocket, but like I said, you're a quarterback, and the position demands creativity, and when it came to creativity, oh brother, Robin Williams, I mean there was no one who could think on his feet like him, and even though it's football, you gotta feel like his movies inspired you to play the game the way you do, and I guess what it all comes down to as we let you go here, gotta get to traffic with Bonnie Green in just a sec, is how do you feel about using the slot receiver?

The only thing missing is the british reference. Maybe a comparison to Eric Idle

If you take out the capital letter FUCK part, this could be a transcript of the show.

I thought Robin Williams had come up on the show just a few weeks ago, and Bernstein did say that he had not found him funny since he got off cocaine.

I don't see how you couldn't find his genie character in Aladdin funny. That is probably one of the most memorable animated characters in the history of movies, simply because of Williams' work

He is right about Kate Upton being heavier than other models. But he is wrong for saying she's out of shape. She was never an anorexic swimsuit model to begin with or she wouldn't have the awesome knockers and ass.
