The show started with old drops so this could be good.

It also started with Abbatacola yelling from a distance so maybe not.

By the way, isn't it kind of odd that the Score chooses to announce the Mac stuff a few minutes before this big celebration honoring two guys for a 15-year run at the station? Bernstein's got to be pissed . . . and Boers agrees.

That Dan's examples of John McDonough raising Chicago's championship standards included Phil Emery and Rick Hahn talking about championships before it included John McDonough winning championships just sums it all up, doesn't it?

Ran over to check it out at lunch. 3-5 dudes hanging out. The pic is a little misleading because you can't see Dan's parasol leaning against the table. Tried to get closer but one of the many G-Men present threatened to take my phone.

REALLY? What Dan and Terry did is "push" sports execs in Chicago to not be scared of talking about CHAMPIONSHIPS being the goal?

Also, nice swing by Rosen to announce McNeil's departure the day they celebrate their flagship show (by broadcasting outside, during an air show). PERFECT.

Teams generally don't talk about winning championships when they suck ass, as the Cubs, Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks did in the first half of B&B's tenure.

I'm surprised that Dan didn't advise McDonough that every dollar the Hawks spend on youth hockey is contributing to the destruction of young brains, and that any parent who lets his or her child play hockey, except for him, is stupid and reckless.
