remember, Theo can build a .500 team in his sleep per Ricketts. If you have a .500 team you are competitive. if you are competitive you are competitive for a Division title per Theo. If you are competitive for a division title you are in the playoffs. If you are in the playoffs it is a crapshoot for a World Series title per conventional wisdom. |

Why is it so surprising to everyone that a coach would come out to obliquely defend a looney toon wide receiver?
