B and B were in a discussion with Sir last week about Peanut being on Sir's show but not wanting to talk football.

Dan said that he had been approached at public events by people wanting to talk about people in the industry. He shied away from the conversation as he said he is not and never was much of a consumer of radio.

Which one or ones of you was he speaking about?

Dan has alluded to "a large man wearing headphones not plugged into anything" hovering over him at the auto show, which I think refers to SHARK. It's also possible that among Score listeners there are numerous large men who wear headphones that aren't plugged into anything.

I just thought it was interesting that he isn't a student of his industry. I think radio found Dan more than Dan found radio.

Yeah, Dan has said before that he never cared about radio as a kid, other than maybe WBBM. He cared more about television. Remember, he had his heart set on becoming a journalist. On the other hand, Leery is most definitely a student of the game. Not a particularly good one, but a student nevertheless.

Has Dan been doing Chicago Tonight or Sports Talk Live or any of those other roundtable shows? I remember he did that channel 5 Sunday night thing with Paula Faris in 2008, and he was as good at it as anyone was gonna be on there, but it doesn't seem like he does all those shows that, say, Spiegel, Goff, Randazzler, Hub, Leery, etc all do. I guess he's above talkin' with the Kap Man now.
